Maki Of Japan — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Went there on May 11, 2019. The time was between 1:30 - 3:00 PM and I was about to order from Maki of Japan in Tyrone Square Mall when a roach crawling up the wall next to one of the cooks was knocked down with the same spatula that the cook was cooking with! He quickly went back to cooking looking around as if to see if anyone saw him. Well, aside from the couple (RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM) waiting for the same food he (the cook) was preparing for them I also saw what he did! The couple demanded their money back and once the situation was explained to the cashier, he still charged them for the soda and did not address the incident!!! Never again!!! Though I'm forced to give them one star in order for this review to be posted, this place gets minus five stars....

Over price Small portions The cook is rude acts like he doesn't speak english Cashier laughs when ask about thw small portions of chicken returned to show her cook had add alittle chicken to the order still nor worth $10 per plate never again coming...

Literally been going to this place for 15 years or more, used to sneak food form here into the theaters where Old Navy is now. Never been disappointed, always good food and friendly service, I go once or twice a month and...
