I went through the drive through of this Starbucks and ordered "two tall whites chocolate lattes" the girl operating the drive through repeated my order back but instead of saying lattes she said "two tall white chocolate mochas". I immediately corrected her and said "no not mochas but lattes" she then confirmed the miscommunication and told me to pull forward. The girl was very nice and pleasant as she handed me my drinks. I get about 5 mins down the road and as I take my first sip from my drink I realize it is a mocha instead of a latte and I hate mochas. I then proceeded to turn around and return back to Starbucks because I can not drink mochas. I get back to Starbucks, inform them of the mistake and patiently await my new drinks. The guy who took the old drinks was also very nice in apologizing for the stores mistake. While sitting waiting for my drinks to be remade I could hear the girl who was operating the window ask "was I right about the lattes?" Her suspicion was confirmed from the guy who took the drinks and I could see that the guy who was making the drinks was getting a little bothered by his mistake being broadcasted. The guy at the register began to explain to the guy making the drink how not to make this mistake again as I began to look through notifications on my phone. When I finally look up the guy who made the mistake (who during this entire process was the ONLY employee who did not speak to me let alone apologize for the mistake) had placed the drinks by me without saying a word to alert me and returned working. I asked him if these were my lattes? He replied back in a rather monotone voice those are your "white mochas" I responded " I asked for white chocolate latte" he agin says, "yea white mocha". Now confused not knowing whether he was being a smart ass or if that was the technical term for the drink I just took a sip from one cup and discovered it was the drink I had asked for. "FINALLY!" I say to myself consciously. I then proceed to pick up the second cup, and to my surprise the weight difference between the two cups was night and day. Once again confused I take off the top of both drinks, I discovered that one cup was filled to the top as usual but the second drink was clearly half way full I mean it was so evident that the person who made the drinks had to know that this 4$ cup of coffee is barely sitting at half way full and no one has touched it yet. Infuriated I rushed out of the store before my entire attitude changed and I said something I would regret. I do not dislike this Starbucks as I buy coffee from here often but this guy making the drinks clearly had no customer service skills and it seems as though he gave me half a cup of coffee as a way of getting back at me for complaining. As I stated before everyone else and everything else was excellent but that guy is trouble!!! I am still upset about paying full price for a half filled cup of coffee. Signed, one disappointed customer...
Read moreI don’t usually write any kind of reviews. But I must say that on this day I was visiting my doctors office which was in Tyrone area so my husband and I decided to stop by and have breakfast at Starbucks anyhow as we were waiting for our coffee and sandwich I decided to walk outside to get a table for us I noticed that the tables were dirty so I came back inside and I asked one of the associates can she give me a wet towel so I can wipe the table down she said in few mins and she continued making her coffee for other customers we waited and the another associate came up with our coffee and I ask as well for something To wipe the table down she said ok still waiting for sandwiches and then we ask the next associate who brought our sandwich to us for something to wipe the table she said ok and left. Now we have our breakfast and waiting for someone to get back to us with something to wipe down their table so I can have my breakfast out. (Wow I off to do there jobs for them but no one cared) so I said to my husband let’s set at this window and have our breakfast in a meantime that we were setting the two associated started to talk about me that I asked for a towel for wiping outside so I overheard the conversation because I’m looking directly at them and I’m just maybe a few feet away from them anyhow they were talking and I turn and I said I asked three people for a towel to wipe the table one of the associates says to me well we are making coffee for other customers then the other one said to me that she that their short of staff and the first one who spoke back to me said well I told you I was going to give it to you and she raised her voice at me and I turn and said I don’t appreciate the way you’re speaking to me she turned around and said to me with her voice loud stating that she needs to speak louder so I can hear well I heard her when she was talking to her associate about me and she wasn’t shouting so why was she shouting if this is what you called Customer service from Starbucks need to look for better people I’m very disappointed because I am a customer of Starbucks on 34th and 22nd Ave. I’m there every single day to buy my coffee and my bagel and they have great...
Read moreWhen we arrived this morning at around 7:15 AM, the tables and floors around us were dirty. There was no sense of order or care anywhere.
When I mentioned with a smile about 20 minutes in that they might want to clean the tables and the floor surrounding them the team leader said "OK." That's it. And then nothing happened while we were there another 10 minutes before departing. Apparently they don't realize that for a premium experience people don't want to be surrounded by dirty tables and dirty floors.
This was the day after Thanksgiving, with lots of team members, doing more talking than working.
There were not many customers in other words.
To pay $20 for microwaved food surrounded by dirty tables and floors…maybe that's something you like. There is a Panera nearby. And a Bob Evans. Probably where I will go from now on.
Two other things … apparently when they tell you at the register they will bring you your sandwich that means they will simply put it down on the counter. And you pick it up. I would've been happy to pick it up at the counter. But don't tell me putting food down on the counter is the same thing as bringing it to me.
The other thing, apparently they stopped having creamer at the coffee area. Because of "Covid." I've been lectured by left-wing organizations (I consider Starbucks to be in this genre) about how it's all about science. I'm pretty sure there's no Science supporting any relationship between surfaces/Coffee creamers and covid. Could it be that it is simply easier for the employees because they don't have to clean...
