Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Decent place. Food was really good, however there is one BIG problem that literally NOBODY is talking about!!! There are bad words on the sauce bottles and literally nobody, NOBODY SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT IN THE REVIEWS!!!! Not to mention that it has little to no censorship on it! There was one person that just said something about bomb sauces or something containing a bad word (in the review), but no other mentions. If you have kids, please PLEASE don't go in person to this restaurant. If you are however, going to order from here and you have kids, I suggest ordering online because the sauce bottle names aren't appropriate. I am truly disappointed in the people reviewing this place for not saying ANYTHING about it, and the people who thought the sauce names were appropriate to show infront of kids. There's literally going to be kids at these places, so why did you name the hot sauces this way!? Although being a decent place, this disappointed me and I'm probably not coming back. Thanks for nothing. Because I'm generous, I'm giving 2 stars. Would've been one star but people would've thought it was too extreme. A one star wouldn't hurt your business of not caring about...

So I typically order Tijuana when I want tacos and I’ve been dine in or delivery for years now and it has been steadily going down hill. I also don’t typically write reviews but I’m over it. I’ve worked in hospitality for 20 years and pride myself on the attention to detail. Prices are raising and quality is decreasing. When someone types in a specification on the item it isn’t for fun and games it’s for an allergy, dislike, or just because that’s how they want it and when it’s ignored or not made correctly it means laziness in my opinion. Tickets are even typed in a different color…red to be exact! So I will no longer order from here because I got sour cream all over my tacos and I don’t like sour cream (there is usually remnants after being scraped off), there was a massive amount of tomatoes and cheese when I asked for double meat which made my shell soggy from the juice that was collecting in the bottom of my box so to say I didn’t enjoy my tacos would be an understatement. Who knows if this review will do anything nobody really cares any more these days anyways…not reading the special instructions in the first place...

I came in today to get some lunch for a coworker and me. I was extremely rushed from the second I walked in the door, to me making my order....AFTER saying more then a few times that I’d never been there and needed a minute to look at the menu. So FYI I’m not sure what the rush was. They were completely dead. I was the only person in the place. They once I started to order my coworkers food the boy at the register didn’t hear me right when I was ordering and when I tried to politely correct him he completely talked over me and it took 3 try’s for him to hear me correctly. So when I finally got him to hear me he told me I was wrong, and I ordered what he hear and laughed at me. Every time I’d try to answer he questions or say something he talk over and was making it VERY obvious that he wanted me to get my food and get out. Which I understand (I’m a waitress at a diner, I under the turn and burn mindset) BUT I was the only person in the restaurant. In summary, food isn’t good enough to have quite literally the worst costume service. Won’t ever be...
