[Long review alert - but I simply can't shorten this] From the initial contact of calling in our take-out order, I knew this was a quality place. I could feel the smile on the other side of the phone, very welcoming. I shared with her (the owner, but I didn't know that yet) that I was picking up a sandwich for my sister who was nearby in a nursing home, who had specifically requested from Amore. When I walked in I was instantly drawn in by the amazing smell of the food, and noticed how clean and cute it was inside. I was greeted with smiles by both the husband & wife owners, even while they were busy helping who was in front of me. Then the husband said "Laura?" - YES! I felt like I was in their home. Chatting with wife as we rung up, she asked how my sister was. I told her how excited I was that she was actually hungry and made this request, as she's been very ill for a long time. The wife was so kind and genuine and shared in my joy, and proudly shared everything they make is from scratch. After we rang up, I was starting to leave and she implored me to "Please pick a dessert for your sister, on the house." I was floored. I said no, it's ok! But she, like a nurturing mom, insisted. --- OK - now I'll tell you about the subs. DELICIOUS! My sister devoured her steak and cheese made just as she'd asked it to be, and my chicken parm was full of fresh chicken, with authentic tomato sauce (no added sugar as far as I could tell, which delighted me) and perfectly melted cheese. The bread rolls were super fresh. And the dessert? I chose the chocolate chip cookie, thinking just 1 but she gave me 2! So I can personally attest now that the cookie melted in my mouth. She must have just baked them today. How on earth I have not been here until today blows my mind. I can't wait to go back. Places like this are rare and I'm going to sing their praises to everyone! This place and the owners are so amazing I’m not sure how to even begin my review!!! Omg all I can say is me and my friend are in love with them and their food, this has got to be hands down without question by far the best Italian authentic pizza restaurant ever!!!❤️❤️❤️ and I know what I’m talking about because I’m a truck driver and I’ve ate at real restaurants all over the world. Everything and I do mean everything is homemade and what’s so epic about their restaurant is they have a endless menu a mile long of nothing but heavenly goodness!!!!🥰🥰🥰 and the fact that their restaurant feels like a home setting inside and they are super nice and kind, the old man here and his wife have been in business at this same location for 30 solid years!!!! That is beyond impressive!!!🤩🤩🤩 every inch of food is made with love, all homemade with fresh ingredients, you absolutely will not find better pizza anywhere else!! They have a endless menu of pasta dishes, Stromboli, kabobs many of different kinds and many different choices of spaghetti with different meat and sauce choices and endless appetizer menu omg I just can’t say enough about this restaurant and the owners!! We have been getting pizza from Amore’s for quite a while now, and we keep coming back for reasons far more than just the incredible tasting food! The couple that owns and runs Amore Pizza are the most genuine couple I’ve ever met in my life. When you walk in the door you’re greeted with warm smiles, a comforting “hello”, and an amazing interaction. At this point, I just buy food there to be able to see my lovely friends that own the spot. When you think of Mom’s cooking, part of the reason it is so good is because she is just good at cooking.. but the reason we desire “Mom’s home cooked food” is due to the love and passion that is evidently integrated into each bite.
