Generally it's been a decent place with decent customer service. I think the prices are a little too high and they keep changing the layout I guess to be better marketers.
They have a whole host of electronic and some houseware appliances, small and large, and it's a comfortable place to go to but I'm not sure it's a comfortable place to spend you money.
So I ordered Roku TV, And I received the call yesterday and that it was damaged on arrival. Scarlett told me that she would take care of me and give me something comparable better at the same price. So I went there today and the promise that was made to me yesterday who was not kept today.
In fact, I was told that the Roku TV was not as good as many of the other TVs that they had and they wouldn't Make any allowances which they promised and they would charge me a cost.
I find that as a lawyer very deceptive and tantamount to consume a fraud. so I cancelled my order after going all the way up there from Massachusetts only to be lied to.
I went there in good faith in reliance Scarlett's presentations.
The only choice I had was to cancel my order and leave extremely frustrated with all the nonsense that I was being fed an old lies that I was being told.
So I would suggest that when somebody from customer service calls you, get the name and do not believe that they're going to go through with their promises. they have a thousand excuses, but they refuse to honor their promises.
When rating this place, I wanted to take him to account a good times I've had there but this particular instance was a deliberate intentional misrepresentation.
Because of that I am not sure that I will ever buy anything else again over there unless I am desperate.
I just don't trust this operation and I just don't trust this corporation.
I've been to a number of places but the most draconian is Best buy. You have to log on and make an appointment. You have to wait outside and be escorted in with a lecture. I posted pictures today so you can see what the outside looks like. I've been visiting the jails and the steps Best buy took are not that much different. They make no effort to assess your infectional status but they make it the really difficult to get into the store
So I advise people not to go to Best buy until they implement a system that protects the staff and employees without making you feel like you're a criminal. Well they have a right to choose how they run their business, we have a right not to go there.
I ordered something for pickup at 7:00 p.m. And when I got to the store they told me that the likelihood of the pickup is zero so I wasted an hour and a half with a bunch of unapologetic people for my vulture capitalist that cannot be trusted.
It's 7:00 p.m. well do a people and cars waiting outside three employees came out and said the manager told them to go home. I took pictures of it to show you the the frustration and anger that these people have...

I recently visited Best Buy at 290 S Broadway in Salem, NH, to purchase an open-box ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 OLED Laptop in “excellent” condition. As a Best Buy Plus member, I trusted the store after confirming the laptop’s availability over the phone and made the hour-long drive from Boston. Unfortunately, my experience was severely disappointing and marred by a lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and a disturbing sense of disrespect from some of the staff. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that help was hard to find. After waiting for assistance, I spoke with the store manager, Max, and requested his help. However, after another 5-10 minutes of waiting, a staff member finally brought out the laptop, but she initially told me it was unavailable despite the prior confirmation over the phone. She reluctantly agreed to double-check and retrieved the laptop, but I soon discovered it was missing essential accessories, including the charger, which should have been included with an “excellent” condition product according to Best Buy’s policies. Best Buy’s official conditions for open-box items state that products in “excellent” condition are expected to include all original parts, packaging, and accessories. When I pointed this out to the employee, she consulted with her manager, Max, who decided to downgrade the laptop's condition to “fair” without adjusting the price. According to the store’s app, an “excellent” condition model was priced at $839.99, “good” at $794.99, and “fair” at $749.99. Despite reclassifying the laptop as “fair,” Max refused to lower the price accordingly. When I brought this discrepancy to his attention, he responded through his staff member in a rude and dismissive manner, instructing her to tell me, “If they don’t want to buy, keep it inside and let them go.” This unprofessional behavior and indirect communication were both disrespectful and, frankly, traumatic. This experience left a strong impression of unprofessionalism and a lack of customer respect from Max and the staff. It’s disheartening to see such treatment from a store I’ve supported for years. I urge Best Buy to address these service issues and ensure that their staff upholds the company’s standards. Customers should not have to deal with inconsistent information, unprofessional behavior, or dismissive attitudes. Until I see improvements, I cannot in good conscience...
Read moreI wanted to like this store since it is the closest to me. But so many things wrong with the store, staff, products. I've only just recently started going to this store and out of the 4 times I've gone 3 of them was a terrible experience. First time I purchased a wall mount for a tv, this mount was listed as brand new and not an open box so full price listed. I got home opened it up and it seemed all set I got half way through installing only to find out parts missing and it someone had actually opened a bag of the screws and replaced the bag with a sandwich ziploc baggie.. second time I was trying to get parts to finish building a pc for my daughter. I was approached by a staff member and asked if they could help I asked a few questions and literally he couldn't answer a single question.. not inspiring at a tech store... one question that really blew my mind was I asked if they sold cases for building a pc. He said no we dont carry stuff like that. I went online to search for something and first pop up I get was for best buy in salem several options and all in store.. I asked again and than told him yes you absolutely do carry them please find someone who can actually help me. Third time I we t to pick up some fans and wow I actually got what I was buying. Go figure. Now this last time i went in. I purchased a lg sound bar system. The box is an open box deal so a few dollars less. I asked the sales person about it and they assured me that it had everything in the box still and was inspected by the geek squad or whatever. Well I dont know if they are just lazy, blind, or just dont care but when I got home again to instal this pile of heaping junk. I opened the box and immediately you could tell this thing was burnt out. It had that electrical burning smell to it. But I set it up anyways to see if it was working or not. It was missing parts, missing the instructions, missing the cables to even hook it up I had an extra one so I used that but even turning it on as I thought it instantly displays an error code and powers down. It is unusable scrap. So if you needed a reason to save yourself 2-3 trips per item you want to pick up go to any other store than this one. I will be returning this pile of junk and after this deal I wont ever be shopping at best buy again. Waste of time, money, gas, itll stress you out trying to get what should be simple plug and play...
