MAY the owner is so RUDE !!! I would never ever order from this place again in my life. The other staff have been amazing I have been coming / ordering from here for a year and never had an issue. I paid $20 ( like I always do) for a soup that only cost $13 and I understand I added a lot of extra things like Veggies, 3 more shrimp and 3 dried noodles. In my soup they forgot to add the chicken.... I called back and told her there is no chicken a simple mistake and that I didn’t want onions. She claimed I never said that ( I know it did) I was willing to let that go but then she told me I am LYING about my soup not having chicken lol. That’s is crazy why would I have to lie about my food that I paid for. Then one the phone she starting yelling at me saying there’s nothing she can do for me unless I go back and get my money that I am a liar and I am taking advantage of her. I told her that’s not the way you talk to a customer I just wanted to know what can you do this time to fix this mistake ( I was already back in Andover) and that she makes no sense because I am a paying customer how am I taking advantage of you. and she yelled “ I don’t need or want your business” then I started to raise my voice because I don’t know who the hell this lady think she is talking to. I would NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE MAY IS SO RUDE !! And that fact that she is the “ owner/ supervisor” I feel bad for her employees if she was talking to me disrespectful over a mistake the kitchen made I can imagine how she talks to her staff.

We're new to the area and my wife is Chinese, so we've begun the search for local Chinese food that's good. After reading the reviews, we decided to give Yang Ming a try. We have a big family and we placed a big order for takeout. Three orders of beef & broccoli, two of beef chow fun, one of tofu and eggplant. When we got home, we saw that there was no rice included. Other than the chow fun, these are saucy dishes that don't really work without rice, so we called in. We were informed that rice is not included and comes at an additional charge. As outrageous as this is - I've never seen this in decades of eating Chinese food around the country - I would have considered it if they had told us up front. But they didn't even bother to mention that it wasn't included with dishes that traditionally always come with rice. There were also no utensils, and we're staying in a hotel. This was a $90 order and we weren't even asked about basic things. The chow fun was greasy and mostly flavorless. The other dishes were flavorful but hard to eat without rice. The restaurant was 15 minutes away and it was late, so we just weren't willing to go back and spend $5 an order of rice. I strive to be fair in my reviews, and the quality of the food isn't bad overall. But serving these states without rice is the equivalent of spaghetti and meatballs without pasta. I'm extremely disappointed in this experience.

If you’re searching for the best sushi experience, look no further than Yang Ming, a family-owned gem that consistently tops my list. After traveling and trying sushi all over, this cozy spot still reigns supreme. The freshness of the sushi here is unbeatable—you can taste the quality in every bite, especially with their nigiri. The balance of flavors in their sauces is truly remarkable, never too strong, sweet, sour, or hot—just perfectly balanced. Each roll is crafted with precision, tightly packed and staying that way until it melts in your mouth. I keep coming back to their sushi over and over again, and for good reason. Personal favorites? The Godzilla Maki, Lobster Maki, Sunshine Maki, Ebi Mango, and any of their Nigiri (the Unagi is a must-try for eel lovers like me). This is a place that consistently delivers, and I’ve captured countless photos over the years to prove it. If you haven’t been to Yang Ming yet, I highly recommend you do. Missing out on their sushi is an experience I truly feel sorry for you to never have. Join me in tracking down the best bites!

This food was the worst Asian food I’ve had in a long time. My mom found this place on Facebook and thought it would be a good place to go for lunch. Boy, was she wrong. We walk in and the server points at a table without even saying hello. We sit down and wait a long 20 mins before someone even acknowledged that we where there. This guy comes up to our table and my mom wanted to ask a question regarding if she could get the gyoza with the bento box. He starts yelling that she can’t do that, and that she had to order that separately or else he was going to charge her for it. Once we finished ordering, we waited way too long for our food. We ordered at 1:30 and we still had no food at 3:00. Finally a woman comes out with just one miso soup, when we had both ordered one. We tried some of the soup, and it tasted like dishwater! We ended up sending it back and replacing it with wonton soup, which was only slightly better. After another 20 mins the edamame and crab Rangoon that we had ordered came out. Edamame was dry and the crab Rangoon was so bad that my mom was gagging on it. We then waited 30 mins until a women came over to our table with the wrong food. We told her she got our order wrong and she just shot us the stink eye. She then went back to the kitchen and came out with another dish( that looked disgusting) and once again, she got our order wrong. We waited a little while until another woman came up to us with some sort of chicken, which we hadn’t ordered. Once again, we explained to her that had our order wrong. The women didn’t even speak English. She then proceeds walks around the room and then comes back and tries to force the food on to our table. We once again told her that she had the wrong table. Eventually our bento boxes come out, and we had both ordered the chicken. The box came with 3 sushi, chicken breast, salad, rice, and an orange. The chicken was raw and had 2 hairs in it, they forgot to put fish in our sushi, the salad was ok, and the rice had an extremely strange after taste. The only thing that was good was the orange. We left paying a total of $30 without giving tip. A woman was giving me the stink eye through out the meal, and while we where leaving. Went home, and didn’t feel well. I now have a fever and I just threw up. If you have half decent standards and care about your health, I would def not recommend Yang Ming. ( BTW place was not clean or...

Yang Ming Restaurant in Salem, New Hampshire, consistently receives positive reviews for its delicious Chinese and Japanese cuisine, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Located conveniently in a strip mall, it's a popular choice for both dine-in and takeout in the Salem community. Efficient Takeout Service: Orders are prepared quickly and packaged well, making it a reliable option for takeout. I stopped into the restaurant for the first time yesterday afternoon in order to try the food out before taking my girlfriend there for dinner. I went a little early on Saturday afternoon about an hour before diner time. The place wasn't busy and I thought it would be a good time to sit down for a leisurely meal. I decided to order one of the Combination plates with boneless spear ribs, chicken fingers, and beef teriyaki, with the notion that it would be a good sampler of what the food was like. I was served by a 20-something male Chinese waiter, who was polite but not friendly. The food was a huge disappointment, everything tasted like it had been marinated in grease. No flavor at all in terms of the spear ribs, and especially the beef teriyaki which was very greasy almost as if it had been basted in motor oil. As for the service, once the waiter brought the food to my table, he ignored me for the rest of the meal. Never came back to inquire about the quality of the food, nor did he refill my glass of water, or check to see if I wanted another Chinese drink. The place wasn't busy, the waiter was waiting on only one other table in the other room. I didn't finish the meal because the food was so greasy and tasteless. Several other members of the wait staff finally noticed that I had been abandoned by the waiter, and were visibly embarrassed and uncomfortable about coming to my table and taking care of things to wrap up the meal. I regret not speaking to management about the poor quality of the wait service, and the bad food. Nevertheless, this was my first experience with the Yang Ming restaurant, and it...
