This food was the worst Asian food I’ve had in a long time. My mom found this place on Facebook and thought it would be a good place to go for lunch. Boy, was she wrong. We walk in and the server points at a table without even saying hello. We sit down and wait a long 20 mins before someone even acknowledged that we where there. This guy comes up to our table and my mom wanted to ask a question regarding if she could get the gyoza with the bento box. He starts yelling that she can’t do that, and that she had to order that separately or else he was going to charge her for it. Once we finished ordering, we waited way too long for our food. We ordered at 1:30 and we still had no food at 3:00. Finally a woman comes out with just one miso soup, when we had both ordered one. We tried some of the soup, and it tasted like dishwater! We ended up sending it back and replacing it with wonton soup, which was only slightly better. After another 20 mins the edamame and crab Rangoon that we had ordered came out. Edamame was dry and the crab Rangoon was so bad that my mom was gagging on it. We then waited 30 mins until a women came over to our table with the wrong food. We told her she got our order wrong and she just shot us the stink eye. She then went back to the kitchen and came out with another dish( that looked disgusting) and once again, she got our order wrong. We waited a little while until another woman came up to us with some sort of chicken, which we hadn’t ordered. Once again, we explained to her that had our order wrong. The women didn’t even speak English. She then proceeds walks around the room and then comes back and tries to force the food on to our table. We once again told her that she had the wrong table. Eventually our bento boxes come out, and we had both ordered the chicken. The box came with 3 sushi, chicken breast, salad, rice, and an orange. The chicken was raw and had 2 hairs in it, they forgot to put fish in our sushi, the salad was ok, and the rice had an extremely strange after taste. The only thing that was good was the orange. We left paying a total of $30 without giving tip. A woman was giving me the stink eye through out the meal, and while we where leaving. Went home, and didn’t feel well. I now have a fever and I just threw up. If you have half decent standards and care about your health, I would def not recommend Yang Ming. ( BTW place was not clean or...

Read moreI stopped into the restaurant for the first time yesterday afternoon in order to try the food out before taking my girlfriend there for dinner. I went a little early on Saturday afternoon about an hour before diner time. The place wasn't busy and I thought it would be a good time to sit down for a leisurely meal. I decided to order one of the Combination plates with boneless spear ribs, chicken fingers, and beef teriyaki, with the notion that it would be a good sampler of what the food was like. I was served by a 20-something male Chinese waiter, who was polite but not friendly. The food was a huge disappointment, everything tasted like it had been marinated in grease. No flavor at all in terms of the spear ribs, and especially the beef teriyaki which was very greasy almost as if it had been basted in motor oil. As for the service, once the waiter brought the food to my table, he ignored me for the rest of the meal. Never came back to inquire about the quality of the food, nor did he refill my glass of water, or check to see if I wanted another Chinese drink. The place wasn't busy, the waiter was waiting on only one other table in the other room. I didn't finish the meal because the food was so greasy and tasteless. Several other members of the wait staff finally noticed that I had been abandoned by the waiter, and were visibly embarrassed and uncomfortable about coming to my table and taking care of things to wrap up the meal. I regret not speaking to management about the poor quality of the wait service, and the bad food. Nevertheless, this was my first experience with the Yang Ming restaurant, and it...
