NH Beach Pizza — Restaurant in Salem

I ordered pizza from here. I never write reviews, but I just had to for this place since I had such a terrible experience.

The delivery - I made the order to my friend's house while we were playing a board game in the dining room. We never got a notification that our pizza arrived, and the delivery person just left our pizza out on the porch in 50 degree weather, and it must've been sitting out there for at least 20 minutes before we noticed because it was cold. They never at least knocked or rang the door bell to notify us.

The quality - because the pizzas were cold, the cheese was solid, but I had asled for extra cheese on one side of our cheese pizza, but they had no cheese on one side... it was literally just marinara sauce on one side of the pizza. The cheese they use on the pizza is also sub par because they just take thin circle slices of provalone and throw them on the pizza. The sauce was also extremely sweet. Order has been screenshot and posted in photos along with what I actually received...ordered extra cheese on full tray with half pepperoni. Called to simply ask for the 5.00 refund. The kid that answered the phone consulted with someone else there and told me they would have to call me back when they were less busy but I probably wouldn't be able to get a credit. They took my number and I never heard anything back. Guess I've learned to check the box before I leave instead of After I drive 20 min home. Not only did I pay extra for extra cheese it was in the description of what I ordered...so was there twice and...

In an unassuming corner, this place brings nostalgia of beach pizza. I got 2 slices, they were piping hot outta the oven, and hits the spot on a rainy day. The crust was the right degree of crunchy, crispy, and slight fluff inside. The sauce was a tad sweet for my liking, but definitely better than Tripoli. Cristy's will always be my #1, but try it! If you live around the area and don't wanna drive down to the beach to satisfy your cravings, then NH Beach Pizza is your go to. Sure, there are better slices and cheaper pies out there, but NH Beach...
