Not only did he assist with the negotiation process, but he also ensured that my test drive experience was nothing short of exceptional, even going the extra mile to ensure the truck had a full tank of gas upon my arrival.

Read moreI scheduled an appointment for a software update for my 2016 GMC Sierra that was not purchased from Hart Motors. I was told by two different service department employees that it would cost me between $15.00 and $30.00 for the labor (which I would have thought to be covered under the manufacturer's warranty, (NOT). Upon arrival, one of the same employees that gave me the original quote was the person that checked me in. The employee once again said "We quoted you $30.00, correct"? I said yes, gave the keys to my vehicle to the employee, and took a seat in the waiting area. Originally, I was told by a technician when the appointment was scheduled that the update would take 5 to 15 minutes at the most. It was a very easy fix and wouldn't take long. After an hour, I was handed handed an invoice for $69.95 and told that the service manager had given 1/10 of an hour of service to me for free. I tried to explain to the cashier the discrepancy between what I was quoted and what I was being billed. Her response was that, "I could speak with the manager". Having already been told that what I was being billed was the best that the Service Manager could do, I just paid the bill and explained that I would not be back. After leaving the dealership, I arrived home to find that my software wasn't even updated and still had the same version listed as is did prior to the appointment. I had been told by several prior customers not to use Hart Motors but, being my first time, thought I would give them a chance. Well, to say the least, they got me once, it will NOT happen again. Read moreI initiated contact with Hart Motor Company using the GMC Online tool shopping for an HD truck. I was contacted quickly thereafter by Sales Consultant Tim Foutz. I found Tim pleasant, courteous, and knowledgeable. Tim answered my questions and explained the challenges to be expected in the current new car market. Since starting my search for a new truck, I had spoken with or visited at least six different dealerships. I was most impressed with Tim's description of Hart Motor Company's practices during this challenging time. Being unfamiliar with GMC trucks, I later visited the dealership on a day when Tim was unavailable. Sales Manager Buddy Folden greeted me, showed me available trucks and answered my questions. I found Buddy to be personable, sincere, and a pleasure to talk to. Upon learning that a suitable truck was expected at the dealership, I visited the dealership upon the truck's delivery, and loved the truck. Often, I have found the time spent with with the Finance Officer to be my least favorite part of the buying experience, however, Eric Matthews was also pleasant, had a great sense of humor, and made that part of the experience unexpectedly painless. For me, trust is of primary importance when making the important and expensive decision to buy a new vehicle.
