Heggy's Confectionery — Restaurant in Salem

A lovely little restaurant that is nostalgic of simpler times. Love to sit at the bar & order a homemade milk chocolate that is so rich & creamy you desire nothing more. The fried bologna is a favorite for me but my nephew swears that the grilled chicken is the best. Don’t forget to order some buttered potatoes with your meal. You’ll be glad you did. Afterwards you can stop and grab a bag of pistachios or peanuts along with a box of chocolate to take home. It’s a win, win kind of breakfast, lunch or dinner...

It’s ok. The waitress was rude. And kept popping her gum. Which is nasty. Then every time we would ask for something she would roll her eyes.

I have gone there many times and have never had this issue again. They are always so nice. I wish they did some breakfast items for dinner. My significant other loves the eggs Benedict and sometimes we get there just a few minutes too late. But the food is always amazing and worth every penny.

Definitely would recommend for everyone to try this...
