McDonald's — Restaurant in Salem

Did a mobile order prior to arriving in the drive thru. When we got there they couldn't locate my order at all and made me pull to the 1st window. I had to show them my receipt and they still had no clue about the order. Finally a manager came over and told us to pull to the 2nd window. The 2nd window had a few girls standing there playing on their phone and they tried to hand me someone else's food and I had to tell them no. Waited about 30 seconds and the manager lady came to the window with my food. When we got home to eat it, it was all old and horrible. We had chicken nuggets and they were so stale it was as if they were made the day before. The burger had a sticker on the box saying to use it 1st and definitely was old too. The fries were cold and horrible. We ordered on a weekend night! I have no clue how they were able to pull together such stale, old...

Don’t want to get into much details because sometimes writing about stuff people read about it the wrong way But just want to mention that the manager at this McDonald’s location is highly respectful and reasonable respectfully declined his refund for my food because how respectful and polite he was to me on first response when I called explain to me on when they receive their food and how he doesn’t even let it go to the expiry date he actually throws the food out sooner so there is no chance of anyone getting sick what a great manager at this location ... The manager at first thought I was prank calling because it came in as Martha Stewart So he thought I was a prank caller But just want to say that he was respectful and Great work ethic Managers like this should have a raise more often so they can see how appreciated they are at the location...

Our food was hot and seemed fresh. The cashier didn't even greet us nor say anything to us besides our total when we finished ordering. The place was very, VERY dirty while we were there, despite someone on the floor changing and trash bins. It was still filthy when we left. Trash covering the floor all over the restaurant. Also, not a big deal-they forgot our child's chocolate milk with her meal but when we went back to the counter to tell them, they seemed annoyed! After we finished eating, we attempted to get ice creams but in typical fashion, no ice cream products were available. We hardly ever eat at McDonalds but I'm pretty certain we will not be returning to this one. Better training and cleaning practices definitely need to be...
