I honestly have never thoroughly enjoyed a pizza from here. Other than receiving a wrong order that was cold - I had another pizza with raw garlic on it that literally "crunched" when you bit into it. So... Not rushing to get here again.
Update: (over a year later) I have been to MOD on Lancaster several times and have had great service and food. I came back to this one (since I live in the area) and EW! If you are vegetarian, have religeous food preferences, or have a food allergy, I would not advise coming here. Honestly, if you only want what you order on your pizza, this is not the place for you. They do not change their gloves or the roller to cut the pizzas. That was kinda gross, but okay, they are busy. Want some onions? Onions now come with bits of meat and other veggies in it. But they say that is just the onion tray. Want corn? I had to request corn that didn't have bits of other veggies in it (so they had to DIG to find some corn without). All of their food trays are well combined with a visibly excessive amount of transference. After I asked if I could get my onions without meat, the girl grabbed another tray of onions (fresh and without signs of meat) and proceeded to pick a few pieces out of the current contaminated tray of what did not belong in there and throw it on the already excessively dirty food strewn ground before giving up and just combining the two trays together. The windows and tables had smudge and food marks on them, the floors were really gross. I felt like I was at a gas station connected restaurant. Having worked in a kitchen before, you expect some grit and grime on the floor where the cooking is being done. But how about a nice pizza worthy layer of toppings to cushion your every step? No thank you!
I couldn't bring myself to eat in there. I promptly left and am even too grossed out to eat my pizza right now.
Moral of the story? Go to Lancaster and enjoy a good atmosphere...
Read moreThey burnt my delivery order. They spent so much time ducking around chatting they forgot my order was in oven. They quickly smelled burnt bread (i did too) and pulled it out. It was black all over the bottom and crust.
They tried to hide that they threw it away and quickly tried to remake it on prep station. But no one was in line and i was waiting for it to come out so i was watching.
One gentleman got his order that he placed after i arrived for mine. So i tried to get attention of green shirt guy but he turned his back as soon as other customer got his pizza. He was ignoring me because he was the one that was in charge of oven. He burnt it. And then i tired getting attention of guy slicing pizza. I asked if my order was ready and he said "let me check on that" then proceed to cut other online orders and tape then closed before even checking on mine. I was there well before these other online orders came out.
He checked in oven and all he said was "its in the oven" then ignored me like the first guy. Went back to avoiding me. .
I understand people make mistakes but this was careless they had no one in line while mine was in oven and then they didn't even apologize for their negligence they just tried to hide it and play it off like it was still cooking this entire time.
Order was supposed to be ready at 4:32. I arrived at 4:34. Haven't gotten it and it's already 4:44.
Also. They keep their dough balls right under the sink on in a tub on the floor. They pick from there when they need to make/flatten more crusts with the machine. Pretty gross it could have sink juices...

Salem has become a ridiculously quiet early-to-bed city since this stupid Covid/beware-of-germs deal.
Fantastic pizza with quality ingredients which doesn't bother my stomach like pizza from other places. However, a change in perspective may substantially raise the quality of the taste experience and happier customers across the board. I, as I'm sure the majority of patrons, would love it if more care were taken to make a uniformly built pizza, rather than dumping toppings on to the pizza from high above because it magically creates a unique and more tasty pizza...it does not and, furthermore, it cause an unevenly tasting pizza where one slice may be covered in pineapple a, yet, another slice void of any. Rushing and mixing up ingredients in the bins also creates problems w/those who do not want to find certain ingredients that we dislike on or in our pizza. Ideas of consideration.
Aside from that, the food is ready with minutes and the employees are usually friendly and smiling. Like many other places, it's a great place to get a meal, but there are areas which could be improves upon. Overall, pretty great place to eat thinner-crusted (not pan style) pizza with deliciously...
