I was genuinely excited to try the new Mountain Mikeās in Salem. On August 12th, I placed an online order for the Everest Pizza and the Loaded Mountain Fries. After picking up my food and digging into the fries, I quickly realized something was wrong ā they werenāt just cold, some were actually undercooked.
I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with a manager. He acknowledged the issue and offered to place a $10 credit on my account to make up for the fries. While this wasnāt my first choice for resolving the problem, I accepted it as a fair solution and moved on.
Fast forward to today, August 21st. I logged in to place another order, but the $10 credit wasnāt showing on my account. I called the restaurant again and asked to speak with a manager. Although I didnāt get his name, this manager wasnāt the same person I had spoken with previously, but he seemed familiar with my situation. He reassured me, saying he would ātake care of me,ā then passed the phone to a staff member to take my order. Once my order was placed, he got back on the phone and told me to pick up my food in 20 minutes, again repeating that he would take care of me.
I drove over as instructed. When I arrived, I gave my name at the counter, only to be told the manager wanted to speak with me directly. I waited another 10ā15 minutes. By this point, nearly 40 minutes had passed since my first phone call, and my family was waiting for dinner. Frustrated, I asked the staff to cancel the entire order.
The manager finally came out and told me the issue with the cold fries had already been resolved back on August 12th. I explained clearly that it had not been taken care of, but instead of resolving the situation professionally, he made a phone call in another language, went to the register, pulled out $11 in cash, handed it to me without a word, and walked away.
The real problem here is simple: if the first manager had followed through on his promise to apply the $10 credit, none of this would have happened. Instead, I wasted time, delayed dinner for my family, and left feeling like my integrity was being questioned ā as if I would go through all this hassle over ten dollars.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no desire to return to Mountain Mikeās in Salem, and I will be sharing my experience with...

There Were About (3) Families Eating @ The Tables, But There Was No One In Front Of Us When We Ordered. We Wanted To "Create" Our Own Small Pizza. We Added It Up In Our Heads & When We Picked (2) Simple Toppings, The Cashier Stated, "Oh, That Is The Diamond Head Pizza" We Looked @ Each Other & Said, "Huh?" We Looked @ The Big Menu & There Was No Such Pizza. She Charged Us $2 More Than It Came To When We Added Up The Toppings From The Menu. We Chose Not To Argue. I Gave My Name & Paid The Bill. We Sat @ A Table To Wait. We Looked @ The App On My Wife's Phone. There Was No Such Listing. We Asked An Employee About It & He Tried To Look It Up & Found It For A Different Price Than We Were Charged. We Paid $2 Less Than It Was Listed. So That Was $4 Higher Than The Total We Originally Came Up With! So We Sat There Watching Other Parties Get Their Orders Of Food That Came In AFTER We Ordered. Finally My Wife Took The Receipt & Asked About Our Simple Small Pizza. The Manager Went Into The Kitchen & Came Out With Our Pizza. Apparently No One Decided To Call Out My Name & Just Left The Pizza In The Warmer. We Needlessly Sat Waiting For Over (34) Minutes Because Their Employees Were Too Lazy To Call Out My Name! The Manager That Gave My Wife Our Pizza Just Shrugged It Off. BUYER BEWARE ... The Pizza Was NOT Worth The (34)...

So they left my order out while we waited which in tirned got everything else cold. Mountain Mike's should have done some more training perhaps before they opened. The other sad thing is that the proces definitely do not match the with the quality pf the food. For the price i paid i would have thought the quality was gonna be out of this world but sadly it wasnt. However the hot garlic not knots with the jalapenos were amazing and om sad that i never had these om my life before. But not good enoigh to pay such...
