I came here in search of a good Philly cheesesteak. I read the reviews and they were pretty good so I decided to go. I walked in and didn't see a grill so I was wondering how is it that they make they Phillys. Once he pulled the steak out in like one of them cardboard boats like subway or wawa I was like it's no way. Then he put it in the microwave smh. All the reviews said it was great but honestly it wasn't. I think ppl just do reviews based on feelings. I spent $20 for a sub and soda and it wasn't worth it. I'm more upset with the ppl who gave good reviews. Wasted my time and money. Yeah the guy is a good guy very personable but the Philly cheesesteak was horrible. Wasn't even real steak. I took maybe 3 bites and just threw it in the garbage. This is definitely not a Philly cheesesteak spot. He has other items that may be good but the...
Read moreWas initially going to Wendy's but the sign caught my eye because I love a good sub!!! Due to the high selection of food, I ended up with a French Dip, deviled eggs, pasta salad, a Root beer and a blueberry muffin. The roast beef on the sub was nice and tender. The au jus sauce was actually really good with a bit of a salt kick but just the perfect flavor amount. I wasn't fond of the deviled eggs. They were all vinegar instead of mustard which maybe I should have asked. I haven't tried the muffin yet but the pasta salad is good! I love the broccoli in it. I can't eat all of this food but the portions are enough for 2 days! The owner, Fry, has great customer service and can really engage and make you feel welcomed. I will recommend this place over and over again! Oh, and you can turn any sub into a salad or wrap!!! So glad I came across...
Read moreA great little place. I have not gotten anything that I did not like yet, and I've been at least 20 times at this point.
The service is great, the owner-operators seem to enjoy what they do, and it shows up in the quality of the final product. A regular is enough for me to feel full, but I always end up getting a large (or two!) to eat the second half later, anyway.
The rotating specials keep things interesting. My favorites are the chicken salad and ribwich, followed closely by the Italian sausage, but I have not had any that I did not like.
I could spend another while listing all the things I like, but you should go check it out yourself. I think both the quality of the food and the service speak for themselves. You won't regret...
