What the rate this place Tough to decide. I was going to board my dog here and decided to use someone else. Stopped in to check the place out. Smelled the place with in a foot of the front door. A Lady came form the back to greet me and did have a broom and dust pan. But the smell there was nearly overwhelming. She was nice and helpful. No problem there. Asked to see the boarding area and was told they only give tours of the boarding area on weekends. Huh Strange rule and a red flag to me at least consider the strong stink. Yes I know with many dogs there is smell But I have used other boarding places and even at my vet the smell is nowhere near that strong.
Edit: I knocked them down to one star for posting fake reviews to bury my negative review and one other. Funny how so many glowing reviews showed up since mine and 8 of them mentioned the same person. Yea same trick the car dealer do A issue for me but maybe not for others Their boarding area is what I would call a open area in the back where all dogs mingle together. Only thing they have if your dog isn't good with that or you don't want yours in a community is crates. My dog does not take to being crates and is social but wouldn't be happy being around a large number of dogs. They disclosed the crate option but the community area was...
Read moreMy pup, Molly, is 7 years old and I have taken her to Klub Kanine since she was six months old... While there have been some staff changes over the years, there's not an ever-changing Merry-Go-Round of new faces here... And while my girl doesn't go daily any more, for the six years she did, I saw the same dog owners coming in every morning at the same time I did... Long-term staff and long-term clients says an awful lot... As for the environment, puppies are in groups during the day, and the biggest selling point for me was that the only time they're in their cubbies are at feeding time or overnight when it's time to sleep... There's a nice play yard with shading outback, and you only need to check into their Facebook page to see current and frequent pictures of your fur kids at play... Staff there truly care about your dogs and it shows; Molly always starts getting excited as we reach the point in our drive that she realizes we're about to turn in... Once I open the car door, all bets are off because she is off like a shot, scratching at the front door to get in, and that's a good feeling. I can't say enough good about this place, but the fact that it's been my fur kid's home away from home for so long should say a lot; take your baby, you...
Read moreOverall we love this place for our standard poodle Belle, however I am not quite sure if there was some sort of consfusion or what, but when I picked her up from boarding this weekend, her food container was still at the same level, the bowls we sent her with were still in there and the toys we packed were still right where I put them. So either they mustve fed her the kibble they have or she ate a different dogs food. Either way, we were expecting them to use her food because she can usually be a bit picky unless she is starving. the staff didnt inform us if there was some sort of confusion. If your dog is on a diet for health reasons i would strongly reccomend repeatedly telling them AND send the food with a note stating feeding times,...
