Pastability's — Restaurant in Salinas

I eat food from here regularly. Like, once a month, maybe twice. Yes, that's my idea of regular. LOL.

The food here is awesome. Can't say enough good things about that. I did once order something i didn't enjoy, but thats just how life is. Maybe someone else loves that dish. Wasn't to my liking. I've tried their chili, chicken Alfredo, lasagna, fettuccine... 99.99% of what I've eaten here is delicious to me. If you like Italian style food, im pretty sure you'll enjoy eating here.

The service is just as good. The people are nice, welcoming and helpful. If you have any questions they don't mind helping. They have been nice to me.

Its a little pricey but worth the cost.

This is strictly a pick-up and go restaurant. No dine in. As there's no dining area. Just 1 bench to sit and wait for your order. There is a picnic bench just outside, i suppose you can sit here to eat, if you like. I haven't. Nor have i seen anyone else eating here. Maybe I will next time.

Anyway, its a good spot for Italian...

Only one staff person. First time there, but one of their vendors brings to my office often for years. Struggled with the menu. Had the fettuccine in the refrigerator. $29 and too much for one. Huge salad too. Yikes, almost $60 for lunch with tax/tip. Single staff member on the phone as the line formed behind me, taking away any time for questions. Ugh.

Decided to share with neighbors next night for Warriors game. Too much food for one and big Warriors Game. Started at 6:40, halftime was at 7pm. Followed instructions, 350 20 minutes. An hour later, it was still freezing in the middle....half time long gone and served finally with a cold center only because the 3rd quarter was almost over and now no one wanted to stop to eat. Game was intense. Horrible experience!! Looked like a bad host..... And where's the bread that goes with the...

I ordered food yesterday for a birthday party for my dad because he loves Pastabilitys. So I ordered threw GrubHub and the app said that Pastabilitys was open for another hour so I placed the order and 10 minutes later GrubHub tells me that Pastabilitys is closed and that Pastabilitys didn’t let them know they were closed. So the birthday was screwed up because of the screw up from Pastabilitys and GrubHub tried contacting Pastabilitys and they hung up on them I also tried calling Pastabilitys and never got an answer.
