I recently had the pleasure of visiting "La Lotería," a Taqueria located in the heart of Salisbury, NC. I decided to try their Tacos de Asada y Al Pastor, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience.

The tacos were prepared with care and attention to detail. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, tender and juicy. The flavors of the asada and al pastor were distinct and mouthwatering. I particularly appreciated the smoky and slightly spicy notes in the al pastor, which added an extra layer of deliciousness.

This place is top tier! I love love love Mexican food and have been overall disappointed with the local restaurants since moving to Salisbury 1 yr ago. I stopped by this place because it is actually right around the corner from my office. It did not disappoint at all! I got the Quesabirria, cheesecake, and pineapple juice. Honestly, the young man who took my order had me at “it’s my mom’s recipe”. This was by far the best quesabirria I’ve had locally! Way better than the place around the corner from them. Came here today wanting some good Tacos. Saw this place so I checked it out. 4 plate.of tacos and a drink was 17 bucks. I thought reasonably priced. I ordered 2 Asada and 2 Companchango. Green ans Red salsa have good flavor a tad to salty. Spice level on the green is decent hoped for more of a kick on the red but still flavorful on the taco. Meat was fresh and diced small which is how I prefer it. Tacos on the medium size.tortilla for tacos stuffed well though. I enjoyed the side of cactus radish and onion although I'd prefer a jalapeño I understand those can raise cost. Overall 4.4. Pull back on the salt for your sauce and kick up the red sauce a notch and we are talking solid 4.7....
