I have no problem with the McDonald's in Mocksville but the McDonald's in Advance the last 2 times i have been there has been disastrous. The 1st time they kept taking everyone's order but mine I finally left & the next time what I went in for they had NOTHING I WAS THERE FOR!!! THE 1item the time was up on it NOT there fault ( Pumpkin pie) the other was a Frappé their machine was froze up. Anyways I haven't been back there since. I also have trouble with my McDonald's App for reasons unknown (the managers or employees) claim they have never seen my situation happen, but anyway when there at McDonald's I go to use my app make my selection & pull it up & there will be no bar code for the purchase order I am wanting to make. The problem I have is I show the employee & the manager for them to tell me "they can't accept it the fact is why tey don't have a barcode to scan but they see it as an option. Mocksville would used to honor it & promo it off now they say they can't either. I feel like if the McDonald's company is going to have the app to share with customer's then o feel it should work & if for whatever the reason the app isn't working then they should still honor it if the customer can show it on the device in which it is downloaded the cashier or manager can make a notation on the receipts as to what the deal is. Read moreManager is horrible! Ordered food online to pickup. Was told at drive thru that we were too early for lunch as it was 10:40am. We would have to wait 20 minutes to get our food. I asked for a refund and was told there was no way to refund me they money. Drove around and went inside to speak to a manager. The manager was the rudest person i have ever dralt with. She wouldn't even look at me. She had her eyes fixated on the ceiling and said "if you don't pick up the order it will fall off". I said idk what that means I just want a refund. We are just traveling through and don't have time to wait. She repeated the same sentence and still wouldn't look at me. I said idk what that means ma'am. The location is excellent for those traveling into and out of Salisbury about which I have fond memories from childhood. More recently as a resident of Salisbury I frequent this McDonald's for dine in often during breakfast or lunch hours and may utilize the drive thru service at later times of day. My experience here has always been positive with appetizing food being served by pleasant, helpful staff in an inviting, orderly environment. In addition I give highest compliments to their management, who are credited with keeping things moving in a most organized and systematic manner. The manager's teamwork with crew members ensures this restaurant operates like a well oiled machine.
