I recently visited this brunch buffet with two friends and we had an extremely disappointing experience. To start, it took an absurd 37 minutes for my omelette to arrive, while my friends who ordered after me received their food in just 5 minutes. We then had to wait over an hour to get our waffles, which is completely unacceptable for a buffet-style restaurant.
Making matters worse, the buffet itself was empty and picked over for most of the time we were there. It seemed they were struggling to keep the food stocked and replenished. And to top it all off, the staff never once explained to us how the buffet or ordering process worked. We were left confused and frustrated the entire time.
I'm honestly shocked this place has such good reviews, because our experience was nothing short of a disaster. The extreme delays in food service, empty buffet, and lack of staff guidance made for an absolutely miserable brunch outing. I would not recommend this buffet to anyone.
Update: we did receive a refund and a gift card and apologies from the staff. They seemed genuinely embarrassed and this one girl gave us a to go waffle on top of the apology. I am sad I didnât see her name, but she was exceptionally nice and helpful after all...
Read moreI live near by and so want this place to be my go to spot. The place is immaculate and welcoming. The staff are always friendly and work diligently. My low stars are due to my food the last 2 visits. The first time I ordered chicken and waffles. The waffle was perfect but the chicken was so dry and cold. I ended up only eating the waffle. Today I went again to try something else on their menu. I ordered the brekki sandwich. Got to my car to eat some and the entire middle was still frozen. I was a bit disappointed that they serve pre-made Freezer food, but hey, efficiency. So I took it back and they happily gave me a brand new one. But AGAIN it was frozen in the middle. My family got the brekki burritos. There is raw yellow onions(they aren't meant to be eaten raw) no seasonings and were also frozen in the middle. Oh and there is a speck of prosciutto, don't blink you'll miss it. I think the owner is doing amazing things with her businesses and helping immigrants but I do hope she sees this comment and evaluates where things could be different because I do want this place to be my go to spot but I won't be spending money at a place that serves me...
Read moreToday was my first day in Salt Lake City, traveled here from Los Angeles and after a long day of work, I stumbled into this cafeâŠ. And let me tell you, I am one lucky man for stumbling. First, the environment was fresh, floors were spotless and the baked goods were practically whispering in my ear.. I sat down to take a breather and the lovely representative Cam offered me a beverage. Cam is the kind of representative that a company builds on as its foundation, not only was her hospitality on a level Iâve never seen before at a store front, but some of my friends donât treat me as kind as she did. I havenât even gotten into the drink she made, I ordered a Mocha Coffee and asked that she put her professional twist on it, and it may go down as the best damn coffee Iâve ever had. Iâm sad I live in Los Angeles and wonât be able to enjoy this drink on a daily basis. But to close, itâs representatives like Cam that truly make a business thrive. 5 stars isnât enough to rate my experience, I also had a chocolate chip banana muffinâŠ. let me get off my phone and back into this...
