I have been looking for a good Indian curry place to go to in Salt Lake and Saffron Valley might just be the one for me. Food & Presentation I ordered the rose lassi, the cheese naan, the sweet nutty naan, and the butter chicken. The lassi wasn't as rose flavored as I had imagined but even still tasted delicious and was incredibly creamy. I loved how unlike most places I have been too they didn't fill the cup full of ice. That way I could have more lassi than ice in my cup. The butter chicken was good. It wasn't the best that I've had, but it was really solid. Very strong tomato tasting and very flavorful with spices. I wish it had been a little creamier though. The cheese garlic naan was delicious, but the nutty sweet naan absolutely took the show. It paired with the savory flavors of the curry blew my socks off. It was incredibly delicious. The presentation of the food was solid and typical for Indian cuisine. Vibe & Service The vibe of the restaurant fits that of most Indian restaurants in the US. I loved their color scheme and the layout of the actual place. Service was also pretty great!

Went out to dinner with one of my friends last night. I was looking forward to try a new Indian food restaurant that she highly recommended. Service was a little slow for a not very busy Wednesday night. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala with mild heat & Garlic Cheese Naan. I’ve never seen this kind of naan before. My friend ordered the Butter Chicken with medium heat & Garlic Cheese Naan. The naan was so good! So hard to explain but I don’t know how they got all the cheese in between the naan pieces. It was fantastic! I liked the Tikka Masala as well, it was a little spicy even being the mild heat level, but I’m kind of a baby with spice. My friend said hers was really good & she didn’t feel like the medium spice level in hers was too much at all, just the perfect amount. It was plenty of food for left overs. I actually loved that they gave us each our own rice bowl. Sometimes sharing rice seems to never be enough. It looks like they have several locations & I can’t wait to take my boyfriend there next time.

I want to specifically review BREAKFAST at Saffron Valley. After a more-than satisfying breakfast this morning at the Sugar House Saffron Valley, I got thinking about how much of an unnecessary rut I am in about going out to breakfast. Why do I go out for pancakes, eggs, and bacon when it is possible to turn breakfast into an international dining experience? A typical roadhouse breakfast would cost me MORE than the elevated experience we had today. Every dish we ordered (and I highly suggest sharing dishes) was something I've never had for breakfast. I could write paragraphs about the coffee . I have enjoyed every type of coffee preparation, but I've never had THIS type of coffee. My wife, a non coffee aficionado, had TWO coffees. The service was impeccable but not smothering, and we left feeling happy and so full that we skipped lunch. I don't live in town, but this great experience will have a lasting impact on how I will think about going out to breakfast. Why not make an adventure of it?

Staff was amazing, assist very well. Food variety is top of the order Their Buffet option is best in town, shouldn’t be missed. It’s value for money and you got tons of options from appetizers to main course. Location is great too Overall it’s pocket friendly, food tastes really good, and service is also up to the par.
