Dog Park: GLASS warning! While I want more dog parks in our area, this one is pretty bad. There's currently bits of GLASS embedded in the entire space that sliced up our dog's paws. (reported 2023.03.17) People are also terrible at picking up their dogs' waste, so there's a higher likelihood of your pet getting giardia or worms (poo gets on their paws: they lick their paws or drink from contaminated water). It's a complete dustbowl in summer and mud in the other seasons-- would love to see a thick layer of wood chips or soft pea gravel put down! Expect to give your dog a bath after each visit. Lastly, we've seen several non-neutered dogs there and inappropriately aggressive dogs. Please ALWAYS report them to animal control as un-altered and unsocialized dogs are not allowed at city dog parks.

Fun little park. It has a pavilion with 4 picnic tables, with a cool mural on the ceiling, several large trees with benches, we went at 10am and there was plenty of shade. It was nice because the slides face west so they weren’t hot from the sun yet. It has the playground with slides, a zip line, swings and Ive of those like puzzle things on the side. Even my 1 1/2 year old was able to play on the playground. Fun park! Oh and there is a dog park at the other end of the park.

Nice dog park! Not the biggest in the area, but a pretty nice size. There was a faucet with plenty of water for the dogs! My dog had a great time playing with the other dogs. The park had some grass but was mostly dirt which is fine for the summer but might be very muddy in the spring and fall… but overall a great dog park!

Our dog was extremely shy and timid when we first got her. This park helped so much in her socialization exercises. There are a lot of great dogs (and owners) that use this park. I think as long as everyone follows the rules there shouldn't be many behavioural problems. There is a paved sidewalk on the east end of the long narrow park. This sidewalk leads to a little covered seating area. There is a water spigot that is on in the spring and summer. There are doggy bags at both entrances and in the middle of the park. There are several cement pipes that the dogs can run through and jump up on, a hoop to jump through, and you can usually find a ball or two to play with. Double gate entry to get into the play area. We've really enjoyed...

This is a geocache location!! Looks like great fun for kids and adults as well :) the care of the landscape around the area makes it an interesting place, even more so. For that reason, with all the paint colours and details, take your kids when it warms up and go check out the rest. It isn't fenced on the side of the road so let the little ones know to stay close and away from the road. Trust me. Kids get it, as long as you actually talk to them. Some that don't are either adrenaline junkies in the making, or curious beyond safety sake so be sure you, as an adult, know your own limits. Not sure about bathroom facilities because they are locked for the winter. This place made me want a kid to go have fun with. What...
