Rawbean Coffee — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

This used to be my go-to coffee place. Everyone was always so friendly... until recently. I had a list of coffees from people and I offered to go pick it up. When I got there and ordered a "iced caramel frappe" the barista said "I think you're thinking of Starbucks." Now, the reason I loved Rawbean so much is they never treated me like I wasn't fluent enough in coffee drinks to order from them. I was really disappointed to be talked down to because I read what another person wanted me to pick up. I told her that I knew I wasn't at Starbucks, I was just reading people's orders. She said "Well since you know then you'll know their are two different frappes, one is blended and the other is iced." I guess she missed that I said blended and so did I. I told her I didn't know and to do blended. The rest of the order went fine but I was really shocked at the instant attitude. I may go back eventually but not for a good while. I love their coffee and have been impressed with the other servers but this experience made me drive the extra mile to Bjorn's Brew. I hope she was just having a bad day and doesn't continue treating people like that but I hope I never have...

I interacted with only 2 workers here for my first (and last) time today. The one who took my order and accepted payment, was very pleasant, she approached me in line and I told her I wasn't sure what I wanted because it was my 1st time here, she was very helpful with a suggestion based off my input of what i liked, but since i was undecided (my assumption) she asked me to pull aside and park. So i decide on the suggested drink, and after paying i sipped my drink, not sweet enough. Seeing they are busy i walk up to the door these ladies are using to take and deliver orders from. The first lady to appear i asked if we can make it sweeter, she looked annoyed and turned around going inside the door saying "Next time don't pull away" I asked if she was talking to me, because I couldn't see her face when she said it. I also explained that I hadn't left, but was still parked as instructed earlier. (She assumed i left obviously) still didn't get an apology, or at least a "oh, my bad" or "oh, ok" just the same annoyed look while handing me sugar. Really made me wonder why i left a tip, oh yeah, that was for the...

Came here for the first time today ever, was immediately bombarded by the order taker with "what do you want?" I told her I had never been here and needed a sec to look at the menu. She went back in and the line hadn't moved enough for me to get to the menu before she came back out. I felt rushed so I just ordered something from the promotion board, she then took my card without telling me the total and went back into the building. When I got to the window they gave my card and drink. The coffee was fine, I just felt rushed by the rude worker and felt weird that they just took my card into the building without telling me the total. I didn't get a receipt either, I was worried about what was going on with my card out of my sight. All in all I am sad that I went looking for my next favorite Starbucks replacement only to find a place...
