This happened 5/31/24 and can’t move on from it.
BIPOC go give your money to someone else who cares and makes you feel safe!
I came in today to get coffee there was a white convertible mini cooper that was on the side walk and was holding up the line and the round about wasn’t moving I waited until the girl took their order and she told them to move, after she got done taking their order she moved to another car to take their order and the mini cooper was still there not moving so then I honked and the girl taking the order just kept staring at me while taking someone else’s order, the mini cooper moves along I place my order and all she comes back with my order and I asked her kindly if I did anything wrong she then explains that she didn’t need me honking while she’s taking orders that it makes customers panic I told her that I waited until she was done taking the mini coopers orders and the car wouldn’t move so that’s why I honked she cut me off and said “then you did nothing wrong” I called right after to talk to to a supervisor she answered said they were busy and I couldn’t talk to the supervisor and asked me she could take my name and number and they would call me back I told her I’d call just call back and I was still talking and she hangs up on me. I called back and spoke with DJ to which I apologized for honking and all I got was being gaslighted, not taking accountability for her behavior and being cornered on why I didn’t give my name to the yt chick who has had an issue with me for a while for no reason. As a brown queer man I do not feel safe at this location, been going there for close to a year consistently and they can’t even remember a simple my name like mine (Andre) yet they do others and call them by name....
Read moreI’ve been coming to this drive thru coffee shop for years, throughout all stages of my life. Although my drink has changed from a double americano with cream to a double bag English breakfast with soy milk, my face is recognized by all of the long-standing baristas, and one even calls me by name.
That being said I’ve ordered the aforementioned tea countless times. I do appreciate when they double check with “what ya doing today?” but I honestly can’t always recite my drink as well as they can. So today I stumbled through my order and they sent me off warmly. When I was able to take a sip my drink was missing the soy milk! It really makes the drink drinkable for me. I know people make mistakes so I’m only kinda bummed.
*Keep in mind I don’t go here in the afternoons anymore. There is rotating staff that isn’t nearly as experienced or kind and that makes it, imo, really not worth...
Read moreEverything was perfect! From the location to the outside seating with the friendly staff everything was picture perfect for that home town feeling kind of place. Then a nasty, older woman with long blonde hair and glasses (I failed to get her name) had to ruin the trip. Her nasty attitude coupled with her hurry up and get out of the way attitude was enough for me and my fiancé to not only leave but making us question the likely hood of us ever returning. At the very least I may go through the trouble to see if she’s working and if so come back another day. Avoiding her rude service is well worth the struggle lol. We had the most amazing time people watching and taking in the lovely scenery this location has to offer. Why she’s there I’ll never know! It seemed as she did not vibe with...
