Pie Fight — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Wouldn't know if it's any good, they didn't send the pie ordered and the Door Dash delivery person dropped it off 8 houses down. So they didn't send the most expensive item and Doordash did their usual garbage.

It was a Doordash gift from a family member and they said they love their pies, but this business can't even send the right order or even a pie at all apparently.

I'll take my business somewhere else where they at least try to fill their orders correctly instead of stealing people's money and not sending the pies ordered.

If you actually care, the doordash order was 75066AE0, maybe refund my sister her money that you took from her.

Update: My sister called asking why the pie wasn't delivered and only the appetizer was sent and they said they were out of that pie.

But they didn't think to call the customer and say hey we're out of that pie would you like to try another flavor or we need to refund you money or anything like that, but no you just kept all the money and sent the appetizer. And then doordash finished it all off by delivering it two blocks down the street.

They did end up refunding my sister but had I not told her that I didn't get the pie and she had to call and ask them what was going on they would have never let us know that they were just going to keep all the money for the pie that they were...

Funny thing, my girl and I was looking for a place to to have dessert and she saw on google Pie Fight that it has pretty tasty pies. As we drove up we saw their sign but in the window are T-Shirts which was odd. We walked in the shop and they had shirts and hats still odd so we left and we to eat at the chicken place down the street ( that will be another review ). Later we look on google again and thought it has to be in the back... nope. We saw the menu on the window then another customer came up knocked on the window and a gal came out and took her order, duh! We then ordered two Boston cream smalls, not knowing what we were in for. OMG holycrap it was so delicious!! I keep thinking we should have tried the savory one too. Next time definitely going to have savory & sweet!!!

There's sitting area benches in front on outside or you can try to walk with the sweet pie but I wouldn't, if you find a hole suck the cream out or it will get messy, but it's soo good ... drooling just...

This is a fun experience, and the items are unique, but feels a tad overpriced.

These definitely don’t feel like pies. More like adult Toaster Streudels. And I don’t mean that as a diss. When I bit into my “hand pie,” I was thinking about pie. And I was disappointed.

But when I changed my perception to think of it as an adult Toaster Streudel, I absolutely loved it. Made the experience way better.

We ordered a blueberry lemon and a chocolate raspberry. I liked both, but preferred the chocolate raspberry, while my wife preferred the blueberry lemon.

But for what you get, $6/streudel is STEEP. No seating, no shade, order at a walk up window, and the service is a bit slow. $6 is a premium price for a dessert, so I’d expect a more premium experience. If they were $4 a pop, I’d probably return more often.

Also… Pie Fight is a great name, but it’s misleading. I think they should just call this place Stroodz and lean into the Toaster...
