6/25/18 7:36AM called in to picked up order with Linda and told her I was on my way in 10-15min. When I arrived to pay for dozen bagel and 2 tubs of cream cheese not one employee knew where the order was. But they proceeded to start slicing the bagels with note that they found. I paid for the items and got to work but they put cinnamon & sugar bagel instead of cinnamon & raisin. I was really disappointed so called to speak to the GM. Brook the GM gets on the phone and I was complaining about the service and order being wrong. Brook proceeded to say that he couldn’t get word into ask questions since I’ve been venting since I got on the phone and he didn’t want to interrupt me because that would have been rude. At that point I really felt like he didn’t listen and didn’t care about the experience I had his store. Then during our conversation Brook hung up phone. I called the store back and Brook says “Blake obviously there is nothing I can do for you! You might as well take your business back to where ever you bought bagels before” WOW I have never experienced such poor customer service and to hear from a GM to take my business else. Maybe I did come off the wrong way in the beginning of the conversation but to have a GM say some of the things he said I’m shocked. I’m more then happy to take my business else where because if that’s how you treat your customers then that’s why your location doesn’t do very well. I can say that Taylorsville location has amazing staff that gives great customer service even though it might be out of my way, I’ll be going there from now on. If you would have taken the time to listen and said sorry for your bad experience I wouldn’t be writing...
Read moreMy friend and I recently returned from this Einstein Bros. Bagels location. We were greeted with a friendly hello when we walked in the door. The polite young lady behind the counter was ready to take our order right away but we had to review the menu first. We placed our order and while we were waiting I started looking around at the other grab and go food items that don't require placing an order. I noticed something which I pointed out to the young lady and other employees behind the counter at the time. They rewarded me with 3 free items that normally would've cost $10.50 plus tax for bringing the matter to their attention. I have NEVER been compensated by any food establishment in the Salt Lake City area for simply bringing something to an employee's attention. Not only did they compensate me but they did so GENEROUSLY. Aside from that, the staff is friendly, courteous, responsive and quick. The store/eatery is extremely clean. Our to-go order was prepared quickly and brought out to us. The egg sandwiches are fresh and delicious and even at regular price are worth the money. We used a buy one get one free coupon so we received an excellent deal. Exceptional value for the cost! I will return to this Einstein Bros. Bagel location in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast sandwich that comes loaded with fresh, quality products and only costs slightly more than the greasy, overpriced, fast food breakfast sandwiches that aren't freshly made and in a friendly environment where employees know how to...
Read moreI’d give it five if I could. Let me explain. I went today to pick up bagels for my family for lunch. They have a mask out front that says you’re required to wear a mask or they at least suggest it. Anyway, at first, I’m like heck yes, a place that’s being safe with the pandemic. So I go to everything excellent and beyond expectations. Then we get towards the end of the experience. On the employees wasn’t wearing a mask and helping customers. She didn’t help me specifically, but it really bothered me. My dad is in his 70s and is in poor health. If I got COVID here and I gave it to him, it’d be a death sentence. It looked like she just got on her shift. I usually like to give room for mistakes. I sometimes will forget it before realizing I don't have it on. When that happens, I’ll put it on real quick and apologize if anyone’s near me. That didn’t happen when I was there, though. She went without it the 2-3 minutes I was waiting for my bagels. I feel really bad. The person who helped me with my 9 bagels was great, and she deserves a raise. She took all these proper social distancing procedures and beyond. This other lady, though, seemed not to care. This was around 10:20 this morning. Anyway...
