I've been tempted to go to this location for weeks now and finally showed up today for their $1 T-shirt Tuesdays! So....I normally do NOT like to drive to Salt Lake County for anything (hate the drive!) but I felt courageous today and drove anyway, anticipating all the goodies that I was wanting to find in this awesome thrift shop.
I arrived about an hour after they opened, and it seems like this place is jumpin' even at 11 am in the morning - probably because of their $1 T-shirt Tuesday deals! The shirt aisles seemed tussled already, but I was able to find a good amount of shirts that I said to myself, "I'd buy that for a dollar!" In addition to finding shirts, I found two cute sweaters and a good quality overcoat/raincoat that I'm excited to sport in the fall/winter months!
I mean, you have to be a thrifter and have the love to go to thrift stores, for you to drive 40 minutes to, just to go, right?
This place did not disappoint - the racks were presentable and clean, there's someone always fixing them, and the employees were friendly.
I wish they had a Utah County location, way better treasures and finds than other thrift stores I've been to. They also have furniture, accessories, trinkets, fantastic shoe finds, and a lot more name-brand clothing than other thrift stores in my opinion. I'm an instant fan and this place is the place that will keep me driving to Salt...
Read moreThey showed me this stored last year when I was pregnant and I loved it. I’ve gone and have encountered some not so friendly staff. I don’t take it personally because you know don’t judge a person, who knows what they have going on that day. However, today I went in and I was looking around, holding my baby and the lady with the baby (I am sure is the owner) gave me a nasty look up and down. In my opinion that was messed up. It made me feel bad. I’m in my late 20s and usually get bad stares because people think I’m a “teen mom” I don’t mind. However, to get a bad look from a place that is telling their customers to have an open mind and heart to those who didn’t have a good start at life is not what I was expecting from the owner. We later paid and I was putting my baby in her stroller and my mom proceeded to smile at her and say awe her baby and she even looked at her all bad. I’m not sure why. At the other location there’s also another gentleman that always stares at me bad and I even smiled 3 times and it’s like I’m staring at the wall. I don’t let it get to me but today I had my baby and mom to mom that was not okay. Your actions don’t really involve on what you’re always preaching on not passing judgment to others. Anyways, they do have good things though but I think customer service needs...
Read moreI came here from Southern Oregon on a whim looking for work attire for my career. I was stuck in a hotel with a few days to gather last minute items and I found this gem of a thrift shop. Not only are they the best priced items Ive seen in over a decade, they are organized, clean, and have amazing furniture selections! They deliver furniture also! An employee came up to me and told me about this businesses mission which is a group of people who are displaced and recovering from addictions, homelessness, and criminal histories. They all work together as a team to give back to the community and stay productive and thoughtful and gain strength through giving and helping others and one another. No federal or gov funding just 100 percent self motivated and active. The mission touched my heart and I hope many will donate and buy here and continue to help this business and the employees and customers from all walks of life thrive in style and security. They also had a display case with the most delicious and creative looking donuts! I didn't get one but I heard others raving haha! Please support them I got 2 shirts, 2 skirts, 2 pants, 1 hat, 1 pair of work gloves and 1 pair of work boots and 2 pairs of earring for a whopping $33.30! I sighed up for rewards and for every dollar you get a point and earn...
