Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Ordered a farmhouse. They added lettuce and tomato without me asking, they also told me when I walked in that they had no "schmear" (the cream cheese spread) but I was.not aware that the spread they normally put on the farmhouse sandwich is cream cheese, so I ordered one thing and got something completely different.

This location has very limited options and was closed for the longest time. I don't know why they bothered reopening when they can even get me what they do have available.

I confronted them about the added tomatoes and lettuce and the lack of cream cheese and they only said "oh, well we've just been adding that, I can take it off for you...

I like Einstein's as a chain, but the last 3 semesters have been painfully slow. I wait 15-20 minutes for my bagel with only 1-2 people in line in front of me. I've been late to class and work multiple times because I think the service will change but it hasn't. I'm done visiting this location. I would rather not eat anything than visit this location one more time. I don't usually leave reviews, but this location has pushed me to my limits. The lady at the register is always nice and quick. However one lady making the bagels is EXTREMELY slow. She has been there for over a year, and yet you can stand in line for 20 minutes with one person in front of you! It is truly beyond reson, I get if you are a new hire but seriously. And I have never seen a bagel place go so weak on cream cheese. I love einstein's but the one at the U is absolutely not worth your time.
