I found the best coffee in SLC. I have been to so many places and this by far has the best coffee. You don't get that weird aftertaste that so many other places have. They have house-made vanilla, I don't know how they do it but it tastes incredible. They have a variety of pastries that change everyday, I love their morning brioche and their quiche when they have it.
This place has become my regular spot and I can look forward to saying hello to all the baristas, they are all interesting people! In the mornings, it's typically quiet and great for studying. In the afternoon, a lot more people are there and is great to hang out or studying, depending on what you enjoy.
Bathrooms are clean and tidy, which is rare in coffee shops. There is diverse seating including a couch and bar seating. Music is great, setting a wonderful vibe.
Overall wonderful spot with delicious coffee (even for European standards). I take everyone here to try their amazing coffee. They also have great tea, my friend tried their matcha and he said it was great. I kinda don't want them to become too famous because it's so good and not overwhelmingly busy but they have consistent...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews, but I need to make an exception for Holy Water Coffee. For my first time there, I arrived and was immediately met by two disinterested looks behind the counter. After waiting for their conversation to end, I put in my order for a matcha latte and a pan du chocolat. Taking one sip of the matcha, I can best describe it as "chunky": not mixed well and strangely acidic even in whole milk. However, after taking one bite of the pan du chocolat, I knew my problems were far from over. I was confidently told there were no tree nuts, but the hives on my skin and the lining of my throat beg to differ. I could have accepted that maybe I ordered matcha on the wrong day, but the allergic reaction I received with my order ensures I will never go to Holy Water again. Read the other reviews, I do not think I'm...

The staff was welcoming and eager to make suggestions when I came in indecisive about what to get for my first visit. I got a vanilla latte (their vanilla syrup is incredible) and a slice of olive oil peach cake. A delicious combo and left me full and caffeinated.
I really love their choice in furniture, decor, their letterboard menu, the plants, even down to the comfy chairs they chose for the tables. The ambiance is great here - not too loud, the sunshine in the morning through the windows is beautiful, and I can get some work done while enjoying my coffee and cake.
I look forward to...
