Juanita Restaurant

I have been eating from Juanita's recipes since I came from El Salvador when I was 6. Years ago they owned El Viroleno, then they moved to this new smaller location . I will say the restaurant is not vindictive of a 5 star restaurant, but it is very nostalgic because it reminds me of what you would find in El Salvador. The service is more of a "comedor" style of service not American Server Style. Many people feel indifferent about there serving practices but it is what you would get at a Comedor de Pupusas in El Salvador. I will say the food is the best Salvadorian in Utah of course not better than my mother or fathers cooking. But if its your first time ordering try the Chicharron Pupusa and a Revuelta "Mixed". If its a Sunday order a Pan con Pollo it is to die for. I have been eating here for 16 years and not one complaint. Juanita the owner is such a sweet woman and she deserved the support of the community specially during these hard times because she has served it for so long and is a extreme hard working woman. When I have children I will most certainly be taking them there just as my parents did to me.
