And you pushed very hard for people to buy VIP tickets. After going through the haunted house, I wish that I wouldn’t have gone there in the first place let alone spend an extra $40 for VIP tickets. For what? You guys let far too many people go through all at once. It’s like herding cattle through the shoots! It’s so congested and there’s so many people in front of you that the actors don’t have a chance to reset before you come through so therefore, hardly anybody is getting scared. The actors would literally jump out and scare the people in front of us and couldn’t reset fast enough before we came through and then they were trying to scare us! Way too many people going through at once! Huge waste of money! I think it became nothing but a money making game instead of a haunted house. It was literally scarier being out front with the actors on stilts or the actors sliding up behind you making sparks and scaring you. You could do that for free. Inside, some of the actors were screaming at us to hurry up. We were trying to separate ourselves from the group in front of us so that maybe just maybe we could get scared! That’s why we came! The props are very old, the rooms have not changed, so it doesn’t make sense to go back again. We specifically waited to go there so that the actors would have their scare tactics down, but it was all for nothing when we were literally walking down through the haunted house in a single file line. We might as well have had cow bells on. Very expensive to not even get scared...
Read moreWe had the absolute pleasure of visiting Fear Factory during their Halfway to Halloween event, and I can confidently say this is the BEST haunt we have ever experienced! The scale, quality, value, production, and level of immersion are truly second to none.
From the moment we stepped through the gates, we knew this haunt was going to be something extraordinary. A magician wowed guests with mind-bending card tricks, food trucks offered tempting treats, and countless eerie photo ops set the tone for a night of excitement and dread. The “heart”-pounding anticipation of venturing into this living, breathing factory of fear created an energy that was electric.
This particular event was lights out— nearly 90% of the attraction was engulfed in darkness, which created an intense, psychological atmosphere unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Every sound, every whisper, every step became more chilling and suspenseful as we navigated the pitch-black corridors. It’s immersive horror done right.
There simply isn’t a haunt like Fear Factory. The breathtaking industrial architecture paired with relentless scares and detailed production make it an absolute must-visit for any horror enthusiast. If you’re looking for an unforgettable, spine-tingling experience, this is the place. Five stars simply isn’t enough — this haunt deserves all the stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Also, this attraction will make you work those legs with 18 flights of stairs!
Last but not least, a huge THANK YOU to Spencer and the entire Fear Factory staff. Your creativity, professionalism, and passion made our night unforgettable. Spencer, you and your team truly delivered an experience we’ll be talking about for years to come.
Do not miss this haunt. If Fear Factory isn’t already on your must-visit list — it should be! Trust me, you’ll want to say you...
Read moreWe went to Fear Factory last night (10/6/2016) and got there at 6:45. They still had parking by the building which was great. Ticket booth didn't open until 7:15 although website said they opened at 7. We felt like they were waiting for more people to show up. They had plenty of things to look at outside with creative props, painting on the buildings, and even a little maze to get to the ticket booth. If you want to avoid lines, go during the week and get there early. We got $5 off discount coupons from Wendy's, taking the general admission price of $25 down to $20.
Fear Factory is dark and winds through both inside and outside sections. Actors costuming was fine although it's too dark to tell much detail so I can't say if it was really that good or not. When it was lighted (like in the clown section) it seemed like pretty standard make-up. They did have plenty of actors which was great- someone was lurking no more than about 15-20 feet apart. Took us about 45 minutes to walk through. Lots of stairs but they all have adequate handrails. There is a long, high catwalk and a couple of pitch black sections (including an unexpected section with a surprise) as well as the blinding strobe light section-all of which is to be expected. Clown section used 3D glasses but was probably the weakest part of the show for me because it seemed to lack as much variety as other sections like the butcher, vampire, mad scientist, morgue, etc... I enjoyed the high number of actors to guests and the chance to go outside occasionally since that helped to cool down. For a haunted attraction the smell was pretty mild-no overly strong olfactory sensation but plan on your eyes and ears being bombarded. They also took pictures at the beginning which you can buy at the end or have sent to an e-mail. Overall we had a...
