Every time I come to SLC airport I always stop by P.F. Chang’s because of their good food and service but this time the experience was absolutely horrible. We showed up needing a table for three but the server said they are full and the wait time is probably about 15 minutes and we were fine with that. We waited for about 10 minutes and a family of four stopped by and got seated immediately. Well what’s the point of waiting if someone else with a group larger than us gets seated right away. Then we walked in to look for a staff to ask what’s going on and she said they are full again and we had to wait. Well of course you guys are full the table that you guys were cleaning for us, one of your coworkers just snagged for another group. Then a guy walks over I’m assuming is the manager or supervisor and yelled “who the hell let them in here!” Once I heard that we immediately walked away and we will never be returning. This is bad customer service and just flat out rude. If you want repeat customers you guys need some more training and work better as a team. And I would recommend getting rid...
Read moreI had the opportunity to visit PF Chang’s a few days ago and the experience was truly delightful. The atmosphere of the place is lovely, with a nice decoration that creates a cozy ambiance. Additionally, its downtown location makes it easily accessible, and for parking, they have a large parking lot next to it for a cost of $12 for two hours, and there are also street parking options nearby.
As for the service, we were really impressed with the attention we received. The person who assisted us was extremely friendly and attentive, keeping an eye on us from the moment we arrived until we finished our meal. They always made sure we were satisfied with both the service and the food. Furthermore, they made a great effort to communicate with us in our Spanish language, which we greatly appreciated.
In summary, I can recommend PFChamp to both locals and visitors to the city. The combination of a pleasant atmosphere, excellent customer service, and delicious food make this place a perfect choice for enjoying a memorable...
Read moreThis place is not ready for prime-time—easier to ask them what they actually have than to order things off the menu and hope. Tried three times before I found something they actually were able to make. Waiter was solid, attentive and very apologetic, but still…wouldn’t have eaten here had I realized that my first, second, and third choices were unavailable. Not even basic hot Gekkeikan was available. Also, my cocktail, appetizer, and entree came out simultaneously, which was a train-wreck on the table. I asked to discuss with the manager, let him know the feedback on timing and menu item availability, and he was—after being a bit defensive—apologetic and picked up the non-alcohol part of the meal. I didn’t ask him to do that, a comp wasn’t the point, I want his restaurant not to suck…take my money and fix it. I would say the excuse-making and thin-skin made an annoying situation into one that means I’m unlikely to go back. ...
