Pinoy Inasal — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

I needed my filipino food fix today and googled "Filipino food near me" and Pinoy Inasal was the top option. Located just a few blocks from my home. My wife and I deci8ded to give it a try. I really just wanted chicken adobo and rice but everything just smelled sooo good. I decided to try a little of everything(too many items to name). The food was so flavorful and filling. We tried everything on their menu except pork related stuff!

I grew up on rice and sauce/soup so even though im not filipino, the food/ texture felt familiar to west african food ( we have peanut soup as well etc...)

What i didn't like:

The sauces were tooooo salty and oily!!! Too much for my taste. The portions felt a little too small for the price paid.

We are from Kansas traveling to the west and we stopped by to get our tires change. Was in the mood for Filipino food and we found Pinoy inasal is just 10 mins away from the car shop so we give it a try! The owners of this restaurant are very kind and really doing a great job of making the food. Everything is delicious and you can really taste the authenticity. My husband had the chicken inasal and really enjoyed it! This is a gem of Salt Lake City....
