Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in San Angelo

Went at 9:30 and ordered a spicy deluxe combo, with a large fry, medium soft drink, and a small mac-n-cheese on the side. The order taker was wonderful, as was the payment collector. Everything was fine until I got to the window to collect and was told they were holding on the spicy fillet so asked if I would park my car. I waited until 9:50 before getting out of my car to get a manager at which time an employee was coming out with food. The employee didn't even know who the order was for only what was on it. He neglected to even apologize for the long wait or even try and explain why. I told him I needed his manager. The manager came out and almost proceeded to give the food to another car that was pulled before realizing it was supposed to go to me. I told him to keep the food and requested a full refund. I have worked this industry for almost 12 years now, your big name products don't take twenty minutes to make , especially for just a single common meal item. It's a shame that this store acted this way, it has several good workers, but if they allow this to occur than it deserves the negative mark of a one...

Today I'm reminiscing about that very first time that I it was "my pleasure" to have Chick-fil-A. As I took a bite of my sandwich I remembered being at Sunset Mall and being greeted by a Chick-fil-A employee with a tray of samples. These nuggets weren't even on the menu yet as far as I remember but I do recall that the flavor took me to another place gastronomically speaking. The slight sweetness of that steamy slice of super-chicken ruined me that day for any other chicken sandwich. Thus my torrid love affair with "Chikin" began. Through the years my love has only grown stronger and I've learned that extra butter and another "Fil-a" only make your experience that much more enjoyable. My oldest child working here has only solidified my stance on supporting this stupendous shoppe. Tried some items I haven't had before and they were okay: the spicy chicken biscuit was pretty good, if a little small, the Greek yogurt parfait thing it came with costed a little extra but I would get it again. I couldn't order a hot coffee through their app with the meal I was ordering, so I tried their iced coffee and, while it wasn't bad, it's probably my least favorite iced coffee that I've had in recent memory. The spicy chicken breakfast burrito was ALMOST excellent. The only thing that kind of killed its greatness was that the eggs inside were too fluffy. While that's a great trait for scrabled eggs, it just did not mesh well with the rest of the spicy chicken burrito. I plucked most of the egg out and enjoyed the crispy chicken slices paired with the hash brown chunks and cheese with a little bit of salsa.
