7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in San Antonio

I'm a big fan of the Rittiman 7Brew and was excited when this location opened down the road from my house. We had several great experiences here until recently. A couple weeks ago my boyfriend and I came through this location and ordered 2 sugar free Energy chillers and did not realize until halfway home that we had been given totally wrong flavors and we were pretty sure they were just Fizz and not the Energy. Frustrating, but I can let it go as a one-off, maybe it was an off day.

Today 6/29/24 I decided to give it another shot. I ordered a Medium Sugar Free Energy Chiller in the flavor Nightshade (a very dark purple color drink). I was handed a very obviously pink/magenta drink and took a sip to confirm - the flavor was off and not the Nightshade tartness OR the purple color. I let the young woman who took my order know that it was not correct, and she offered to have it remade. I handed back the incorrect flavor and when she brought out the second drink it was the right color AND the right flavor. I smiled and thanked her, feeling much better about the experience... until the young man who'd apparently been asked to remake it SHOUTED at me as I was driving away saying "IT'S THE EXACT SAME THING!"

Mistakes in batching happen, I get that. And I'm sure working in the hot weather in a small building sucks, so I get that too. But I was not rude when I accepted the offer to remake it, nor when I shared my previous experience with the staff member taking my order (my way of explaining why I wanted it remade). Shouting at a customer who has paid and has treated the staff with kindness is absolutely unacceptable and I will never be returning to this location again.

NATALIE was lovely and very kindly gave me suggestions on branching out and trying new flavors and combinations. The service is super quick and the location is conveniently right around the corner from my house! I was hype when I'd seen the location being advertised on the socials. I wish the prices were more reasonable however, they are up to par with the 2 other bigger named coffee companies that in Brooks City Base, which is a bummer for me, seeing as that's one of the reasons I quit going to these companies. I was even more discouraged on becoming a regular here because of the 3 times I've frequented 7Brew Coffee, I always ask for light ice due to teeth sensitivity and to get the most bang for my buck, but I would always get a cup that was loaded with ice and when I finally got the courage up to ask if this was the norm for "light ice", I was told that I'd be up-charged if they used less ice. Overall, service is amazing, energy is great but it's the cost that's most important to me and aside from this being a treat every so often, (I had a half off coupon today) I can't justify the cost or the fact that I'll be up-charged for not liking my drink to be more ice than drink. I know it's just me being cheap but in today's economy, for me, it's not a justifiable expense for it to be a regular thing for what...

I love the location on City base!!! My mama and I went several times to this location and Everyone is great here but I would like to say MIA she made my day when she was so sweet to come and give me the coffee I ordered everything was perfection I then realized the reason it taste so wonderful it was made with extra love. She sure does love what she does paying attention to to all the details inside our coffee and making it to our like!! We had no complains . Keep up the good work and I would also like to make another comment about MIA and Danielle these two are amazing these 2 girls have so much happiness on them anytime I have come by they have never had a frown or bothered look on them there attitude is amazing.
