I normally love Chick-fil-A for its professionalism and great service, but my experience with Veronica, the general manager, was beyond frustrating — and not the first time she’s shown this kind of attitude.
I came through during a tight time crunch and ordered two 12-count nugget meals (with drinks and fries) and an 8-count grilled nugget meal for my daughter. Not only was one of the fries missing, but Veronica shoved everything into one single bag, cramming all the meals — including the one meant for my daughter’s school — into one sloppy package. No care to separate or organize anything.
When I pointed out the missing fries and explained I didn’t have time to pls hurry… Veronica didn’t try to resolve the issue quickly, but Instead, she asked me to pull up to the front, saying she needed to look into it. I told her I don’t have time for all that, and that she could either give me the fries or charge me — either way, I needed to go. Her encounter was very argumentative. I had to ask her to let me finish speaking because she would just keep interrupting me like ma’am. Time, time, time.. I have to gooo!.:/
She then left to ask the team where the receipt was, came back with nothing, and started asking what order number I was — like girl, I don’t have time for this..-_- She went back to search the system, wasting even more time trying to “prove her point,” instead of just handling it like a professional.! The entire thing felt like she was trying to make a scene over something that should’ve taken 10 seconds to fix..
And again, this isn’t the first time. She gave my father, a veteran, a hard time in the past as well, and he left that visit feeling disrespected. He’s one of the kindest people, and he didn’t deserve that kind of energy either. I told him if she ever acted like that again, I’d speak up — so here I am.
This situation wasn’t about the fries. It was about respect, time, and professionalism. Veronica completely missed the mark on all three. For someone in a leadership role, that’s unacceptable — and not what Chick-fil-A is known for Especially considering the beautiful location at The Rim Veronica’s approach was tasteless, cheap, and beneath this...
Read moreThis morning I had a team meeting and we were just complimenting the great experiences that we all have had with Chick Fill A. For work we cater a lot of times from your restaurants. I buy Chick Fill A approximately 3-4 times out of the week at the De Zavala location and several times a year for my work events. For myself always order the same the Spicy Southwest salad with Italian dressing a side of two buffalo sauces and a chick-fill a sauce. Today, as usual I did the same, besides I rode with a co-worker, who happened to witness my experience. When I got the window a girl named Giselle told me that unfortunately she was not able to give me buffalo or the sauce because my meal did not include the sauce, then she mentioned that it would be $.25 per sauce if I was interested. I explained to her that I always go to chick fill a and order the same and I have never had to pay for my sauce nor was I ever told that. I asked her if there was somebody else I could speak with, she rolled her eyes and with a very bad manner called a lady named Serena, which happened to be the Manager at the moment. She had already a negative face approach, she seemed very tired and disrupted. I explained to her the situation, in the back Giselle kept smiling and giggling a bit. Serena told me that unfortunately at that location the sauce was $.25. I told her that I understood that and that I would never go back to that location and asked her if she could make an exception since I have never had such a problem with your restaurants. She proceed to say no and that she could not, especially because I had a dressing. I told her that I thought that was absurd because I have never had such a thing told to me. You have lost me as your customer over $.75 cents compared to the thousands me and my company spend each year. The people working at that location do not have a good customer service approach. I would have perfectly understood and paid for the sauce if it would have been delivered to me in a positive way. Unfortunately, this was not the case. As soon as I left, I went to another chick fill a and asked for the sauce and got it without...

Firstly, there is a reason this location is losing customers to the new and vastly improved Leon Springs location. Overall they provide actual and better customer service, fresher and hotter food, and a quicker drive thru time.
I was reminded by this after my visit tonight on my way home and was given the wrong order due to the employee taking my order incorrectly. After getting home 18 minutes later and coming to find I was given the wrong food, I called and asked for the manager (who never introduced herself until asked). I let her know I was given the wrong order, gave her my ticket number, and explained my order was incorrect. She continually repeated that my order was correct without letting her mind fathom that her employee took my order incorrectly without reading it back to me. The order is as simple as orders get and I get it every time. I explained I never order any different due to food allergies. Despite this, the manager kept implying this was an error on my part, even to go as far as saying “I know you probably usually order the number 1”, no, I only order the number 1. Teresa “the manager” then explained that they would not give me credit for another order at a later time and would only remake my food if I drove back and returned the order. I explained how this location was further for me and I asked if my fuel would be refunded? (That’s an obvious no, but still worth a shot). After declining to come back, I asked who their owner and operator was, which she quickly replied “well I am,…” to which I cut her off because she’s not. The owner and operator of this store is Cynthia R. Gonzalez. I asked how to contact her and was given the store number, so I asked when she comes in, and the response was basically “she comes and goes as she pleases”.
Cynthia, if you’re reading this, just know it’s ‘my pleasure’ to leave this review that might help others become enlightened on what a poor experience your Chick-Fil-A chooses to...
