⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Escape Room Experience – Perfect for Team Building, Fun, and Connection!

We recently visited The Escape Game for an employee team-building event, and I have to say it was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a warm and friendly team who made us feel welcome right away. The front lobby is clean, organized, and filled with high-quality, shiny Escape Game merchandise that instantly gets you excited before your adventure even begins.

This was actually my second visit, and I’ve now done two rooms — Gold Rush and The Depths — and both experiences were top-tier. Gold Rush made me feel like I had been transported to a rustic cabin deep in the woods, searching for lost treasure. The detail in the props, sounds, lighting, and puzzles was so immersive — I truly felt like I was part of the story.

The Depths was an entirely different adventure, and equally impressive. It felt like we were inside a real underwater submarine facility, trying to complete a secret mission. The tech, effects, and interactive elements made it feel like a movie. Everything was super clean, well-maintained, and the puzzles were just the right balance of challenging and fun.

The staff was amazing throughout — providing helpful hints without giving anything away and making the entire experience smooth and exciting. The Escape Game clearly puts a lot of care into every detail, and it shows.

They also offer other rooms like Prison Break and Playground, which are great for bigger groups or different difficulty levels. I definitely recommend checking out the available rooms in advance so you can choose the perfect fit for your group.

Another big plus is the location — right near The Shops at La Cantera, with tons of restaurants, shopping, and even Six Flags Fiesta Texas just around the corner. You can easily turn your escape room visit into a full day of fun and bonding.

Whether you’re looking for a creative team-building activity, a fun group outing, or just something different to do in San Antonio, this place delivers. 10/10 — Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be...

Easy to "Love" and escape room, but this is a 10-Star experience for sure! So much thought has gone into the rooms, puzzles, and even the story.

Over 100 rooms completed and still finding new puzzles and experiences. As a chain, we did a couple of their rooms in an Orlando location, but this site seemed much better maintained (maybe just newer). We escaped Special Ops, The Depths, and Playground with no room-related frustrations (only team member friction points). The set design, soundtrack, lighting, clue/hint system, and video injects were high quality and kept the immersion alive and the excitement and tension high throughout. The only padlocks we came across made sense for the scene (e.g., lockers, briefcase, etc.), and there wasn't any hide-and-seek for clues unless it made sense to the plot; we are often foiled by magnetic hide-a-keys and thus not a fan.

Each of the four of us stayed active the entire time with enough puzzles in count and variety to challenge the group but with teamwork and communication still critical to success. I think more than six players would be too crowded, though, except for Playground which could hold more comfortably. Although there is enough complexity to challenge any group's braniacs, there are plenty of tactile actions to entertain younger children and the young(er) at heart.

The suspense was real, but the jump scares only resulted from magnetic doors popping open. Finally, the gamemasters, Hunter and Bridgette both made the experience all the better with their enthusiasm and competition celebration, but Bridgette is a next level host. A true artist of the tradecraft, we would come back just to have her as a gamemaster, again!

One criticism: They could use a little more soundproofing between rooms. Happy for our neighbors, but it was a little distracting to hear squeals and shouts from the...

Bradley was the overseer of our escape room experience and was a great presence. My boyfriend and I went for a Valentine’s date (unforeseen traffic delayed us, thank you to The Escape Game for the 5 minute grace period). Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see a family had booked the same room. We had chosen The Playground escape room and right off the bat, we were met with an incredibly detailed room and setting. The family’s kids definitely had a great time with the aesthetic and colors presented. Despite being the lowest difficulty room at this location, it was a great challenge. Even though it was difficult, the kids still had space to help out. Despite having never met this family before, we worked together perfectly and had great chemistry. The hints really came in clutch when we were lost and the room continued to surprise us at every turn. We cut it very close to the end with less than 5 minutes left on the clock and it was a very thrilling experience. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time and we definitely will be back when we get the chance (37.99 per person is a tad steep, so this is definitely a once in a while thing). If the family is reading this, we just want y'all to know we had an awesome time and we appreciate you treating us normally despite us being a same sex couple. We had such a fun time and we hope to run into...

Short: Great employees, great date night idea, the coolest atmosphere, we played 2 separate games and bought 2 gift cards because we will definitely be coming back! Long: My boyfriend and I went for our 2 year anniversary and it was the absolute best adventure! We tried the depths first but ran out of time, our game host was Hunter and he was so fun and really made the experience. Hunter showed us Gold Rush after and really sold us on buying another game so we came back after dinner. We tried Gold Rush (I liked the more traditional kind of puzzles here) with Caden and he was so sweet (he said he was new but we couldn’t tell), he even showed us some other rooms we were interested in after we completed Gold Rush. In addition to a fantastic game they also all signed a “happy anniversary card” and as someone who LOVES dad jokes/puns it was the cherry on top for customer service. There were 2 other guys (maybe Bryan and another guy) who talked to us in addition to Hunter and Caden after our 2nd adventure, everyone was unique in their energy but really made the experience. Great employees, great date night idea, the coolest atmosphere, we bought 2 gift cards because we will definitely be coming back!
