Ok. So my girlfriend ordered 2 pizzas online and chose store pickup. I was on my way home so I stopped by the store. I went in, and gave them both the first and last name of my girlfriend, and told them it was prepaid. The gentleman behind the counter (Daniel was his name I believe) went back and grabbed the 2 pizzas with the name. He told me they weren't prepaid. At the time I had no way to call my girlfriend to confirm. I ended up paying for the pizzas.
When I got home my girlfriend showed me her account had been charged, and for a bigger amount. The name on the pizza only had her first name, but both pizzas were wrong. So instead of enjoying our night, we both had to go back to the store and go get the right pizzas. I was inconvenienced having been charged, and having to waste gas back and forth. Daniel voided out the charge, but it still took 48 hours to return to my account. He admitted he had grabbed the wrong pizzas since he didn't check the last name and grabbed the first one he saw. He also admitted he should have checked more since I told him it was prepaid. It was an honest mistake and I wasn't mad. I asked Daniel what was he going to do for the inconvinience, and he offered us a nice dessert (brownie cookie) and a soda. I felt that was fair. We waited another 10 minites for that, and Daniel offered to keep our correct pizzas under the heat lamp while we waited.
I rate 5 stars because even after making a mistake they (Daniel at least) made it right. As a customer I appreciate that. I also appreciate that Daniel was able to own the mistake, and resolve this without involving his manager. Excellent customer service. I really hope I remembered his name right because he deserves to be commended. When ordering from here in the future I look forward to any encounters with such a great...
Read moreI had been ordering from this location for years without a problem. I've lived at the same location, same unit.. I have been using the same profile.. nothing has changed on my end.. but suddenly, the driver can't find my unit. Didn't bother calling before cancelling an order that I had patiently waited on for over an hour and a half.. I called back before they closed. It took several tries to get someone to pick up. and even then, the manager, John, refused to send out another order or do anything to try to fix the issue. And the website is set up where if I want delivery, I have to order from this location, no matter how horrible the service is.. I have never seen such horrible treatment of customers... I would understand if I had ordered right before they closed.. but I had ordered 2 hours before closing, waited an hour and a half, kept an eye on the tracker and sat right by my phone.. no calls, messages.. nothing.. order was cancelled.. I immediately started trying to call, and they didn't answer their phone until 2 minutes before closing.. absolutely horrible..
Update: I called back again today (next day) and spoke with the same manager. He upgraded my pizza to a large, upgraded the bread bites to a 32 pc, and comped the entire order. I'm not sure what the disconnect was last night, but I'm glad that something changed between then and now. Looking forward to actually getting my pizza tonight!...
Read moreAs a very loyal customer of dominoes for much of my life. I ordered a pizza to be delivered to me at my high school, which has no problem with us ordering foods to us during lunch only. I then waited during my lunch period for the order to arrive. 10 minutes after my order was placed to arrive I called to store. I asked why my order wasn't on time, a man very unprofessionally answered, and rudely told me that they don't deliver to my high school. I then asked if it was illegal to or just their store policy. The man continued to tell me my order was voided already. So I then asked why I wasn't notified by the store that my order was voided. He repeated again that they don't deliver to the high school. I said that I understood that, but I wanted to know why I wasn't told my order was voided. He then put me on the phone with the store's manger who was much nicer however continued to tell me "it is store policy" when I inquired why I wasn't notified. Then the said "have a nice day" and very rudely hung up the phone on me.
I have nothing against Dominoes as a corporate function, however I believe the management and employees at this specific store are the corporations bad bunch. have drove it to become something, that I personally believe and I think others can agree, that does not represent Dominoes in a...
