Out of all the time that I have ordered pizza from Domino's, only once did Domino's get my order wrong. I only order pizza by the Domino's app. The pizzas that I ordered are always delicious and still hot. I pick up the pizza and pay at the counter. The service at the counter is usually very good. For the most part, the crew working Domino's is very young and appears to be as polite as they can be for their age. Experience and maturity, for me, usually determine the quality of customer service and the quality of the product in any industry. However, some people never appreciate or are aware of this fact. The atmosphere, well, there is no dine-in, so I can't rate that, but I can rate the workers at the Domino's. They appear to be doing what they can to fill the order with the training they have. I once heard that the employees treat their customers like the managers treat their employees and how the managers treat their employees by how the owner treats their managers. Of course, people are people, and sometimes, no matter what you do or how hard you try, it will never be enough for some people. Read moreI wish I had looked at these reviews before placing my order. I placed my order last night at 4.55pm for delivery, according to the receipt.
After one hour, I called the store to find out where my order was. The girl who answered said it was ready and the driver had just returned, so mine was the next order to be delivered. No apology, no offer for a refund, discount, etc., and no offer let me talk to the manager or...anything, really. I figured it wouldn't make a difference to talk to the manager, as if my order had been sitting on the shelf for half an order, there was no oversight at the store.
When my order finally arrived at 6.10pm, it was an hour and 15 minutes late. I was courteous to the driver and even tipped him, as I recognize that it (hopefully) wasn't his fault for the delay. However, the order wasn't "piping hot", but at least it still had some warmth to it.
I did sent a nastygram to the corporate website about the experience. Maybe I can get a coupon out of it. However, I will not be ordering from this store again, and I will just go pick it up to make sure I...
Read moreI love ordering online with Dominoes, but for the Old Perasol Rd location it takes at least 2 hours all the time and it sucks. I always try to give yall a chance just to have it take just as long or longer. I live about 15 mins from the store and it takes that long. Just the out for deliver alone is over an hour every single time. I am really going to have to go to a different location. I know how things should be because my husband used to be the general manager there and it was never like this before. I wish you would be honest about how long it will take for the delivery. It took so long the pizza was a little warm and not hot.
Update: This location is much better now. It does not take long to get your pizza. However, they did stop delivering to my address saying you have to be in the 1604 loop. I informed them that I was, but it didn't matter. No pizza delivery for me from them. Just check your pizza before you leave. It may have bubbles in the crust or lacking on the toppings.
