Me and my lady entered to a vibrant establishment filled with culture. We didn't order the entire menu but what we ordered was 5x better than every mexican restaurant I've tried since I relocated from florida. -I ordered a beer and the presentation was there however the top of my mug had regular table salt, every sip was extremely salty but whipping off the salt off the mug still leaves a fresh beer. -My burrito was cooked properly and was made using fresh ingredients, as I said earlier, many mexican restaurants I've tried have just about fallen off. -My lady's plate was also cooked properly she didn't complain about anything but the seafood in the menu but that wouldn't be the focus for a mexican menu. -Pricing wasn't predatory it, it was fair. -The atmosphere was really unique actually, their wall displays are filled with culture and the music wasn't loud. Seems like they also have a little stage in a separate area. -They care, I would definitely return here, I know old persall Rd has some of the worst restaurants and this place was a great break from mediocre food. -My leftovers actually tasted good. Amazing.

A friend of mine and his brother use to eat there, and he suggested it to me . I have been there few times, first time I ate huaraches they are the best in town, last week before Christmas I ordered a 2 large menudo plates and 2 large pozole plates to go, wow, I have tasted the menudo in several restaurants but this is the one and takes the first place for me and the pozole the same (they are not greasy at all) I would recommend this place to all of you, not expensive, the portions are huge and the flavors like no other Mexican restaurant, you really have to eat there. The barbacoa tacos are awesome too. Tacos al Pastor, in my opinion the best, and same, I have been in many restaurants but no, the meat, the spices on it and the generous portions of meat, is the # 1 Mexican Restaurant, of course the friendly waitresses always checking if you need something else, good job guys.

Finally tried this place, and was pleasantly surprised. I now have a new alternative. I had 3 tacos of potato and egg, bean and cheese, and carne guisada w/cheese. Table service was fast and friendly. Food was too hot to eat when served, which is a good thing. Flour tortillas were soft and fluffy. The carne guisada was served without the cheese, when server was notified she was back in seconds with it. I enjoyed my breakfast.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the area. My husband and I went for the first time on Sunday and the service was horrible. I tried to give them another chance today and order tacos on my way to work. They are suppose to open at 6 I started calling at 6 no one would answer to almost 6:10. I asked what time they open and she said 6 I explained no one would answer and today she says we open at 6:10. REALLY? I tried to explain the service I had Sunday and the way I was treated today was not professional. She goes on to say I will not apologize for the service on Sunday I did not work. Really? You are an employee for the restaurant are you not? Then a manager calls me as I requested and again NO apology for the service until after she berates me for being upset. Food was ok, but service and attitude makes this a place I will NEVER go to again. There are many Mexican food restaurants out in that area with as good of food and better service. I would not even give it one start but it was...
