Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in San Antonio

I don’t know where to start!! So I’ll start with our order We ordered the Shaqaroni . It’s suppose to be double cheese & pepperoni & xlg pizza. What we got is an entirely different story. I can’t even contact upper management because you’re not given a receipt. Let’s talk food safety!!!! Not one employee has a hair net or face net one or gloves working with food. Safety of customers!!! The parking lot is super dark there is absolutely no lighting at all!!! When you FINALLY FIND PARKING ( NO HANDICAP AT ALL) it’s dark & outside safe!!! Now let’s talk about when you open the door USE EXTREME CAUTION ⚠️ there is a doormat right when you walk in, customers & employees trip over NO LET ME TALK ABOUT THE MANAGERS WORK ETHIC TEY not yelling at your employees!!!!! You do not know who is paying attention!!! Do not shake your head everytime an employee asks you a question!!!! Do NOT make your employees feel like they are lower than you!!! I will be calling and speaking to someone tomorrow. Your yelling at someone when he is getting ready to ready to wash his hands, then have an additude because yall are busy!!!! Then when you have another employee trying to speak to you, you’re acting like you’re being bothered!!!!! Then turn around and treat other employees better. In my eyes I would have taken that/actually looked like racism to me!!!! The looks on your employees faces was disheartening!!!! I hope more people stick up for the way people are treated. workers are rude, and they charge .59¢ for garlic sauce. never in the history of eating at papa johns did I ever have to purchase garlic sauce. what kind of egotistical maniac charges that much for extra sauce.

does it make sense to purchase 2oz for $1.18 ?

4oz for $2.36 ?

and that’s before tax. I can buy 11 gallons of water with that money. I can buy sweet baby ray’s bbq sauce with the money. I can buy 2 burritos from taco bell with that money. It doesn’t make sense for garlic sauce to cost that much when they have always been more than happy to throw some in without question.

I know my comment so far is just about sauce, but seriously that’s my sole reason for eating papa johns and that’s never happened before. I wouldn’t have ordered the pizza knowing the sauce would be extra. I would’ve ordered something else. Not to mention how rude they were being to me. Also, my pizza hasn’t arrived for over 40 minutes the app said it would come by. And my order was WRONG.

The pizza from this location is always great, though they can get busy at times.

They do however use DoorDash

I just had an incident where a Dasher claimed to have delivered my pizza, but there was no knock on the door, and no pizza left in front of the door (Dashers have a tendency not to let you know your Pizza has arrived)

I had waited an hour for the pizza to be made, and ended up calling the location. I was offered either a refund or remake of the order. No real apology.

I'm not sure if this is standard practice, but inconvenience to the customer without offering anything to make up for said inconvenience is a show of poor customer service.
