This is one of those hole in the wall places that doesnāt look too great but their food makes up for it.
The restaurant is somewhat hidden in a plaza and the parking lot is usually pretty full. The parking lot itself doesnāt look too great which made me almost reconsider coming here but a friend recommended it.
Inside youāll find your standard amount of tables and decent decor. The restaurant looks a bit outdated and worn but it wasnāt that big of a deal. It also has that very home type feeling which made it welcoming.
If this is your first time coming here youāll need to head to the register to order your food, pick your drinks, then find a seat. There is no table service other than the food being delivered to you but thereās an area where you can pretty much self serve yourself when it comes to utensils and stuff.
We ordered the lunch special which came with the main dish (the gyro, it was a beef/lamb combo but they have one in chicken as well!) and a side of fries or salad. Everything totaled about $7 and some change including the drink.
Overall Iād say the food is pretty great. The sauce that comes with the gyro is very unique (in the sense that Iāve never had a gyro before till now) but it was delicious.
I would 10/10 recommend this place if youāre need a quick bite to eat thatās...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethe building was clean albeit small now that ive said everything nice. there is no signs telling you to go to the register to order( and they didn't even ask if i was ready to order when the people in front of me finished and sat down when i was standing in line) or anything telling you to grab your soda out of the fridge next to the register after ordering. both me and my mom got sick from the food i ended up throwing up before i even made it 4 bites into the food. the pita crust tasted like half cooked pizza dough and the lamb in the gyro tasted oily and not cooked correctly. this all happened after they messed up my order and i had to wait for a remake. my mom got i believe it was called Chelsea's plate it was chicken and lamb skewers with a side a salad and pita pieces. the green beans had so much garlic and it tasted like Italian seasoning that it was more seasoning than green beans and my mom made the comment they must not sell enough because they tasted old. props to the lady managing the front of house at the restaurant she was cleaning tables as people left but i ended up getting my back and the back of my neck covered in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely love the food and service here. I wish I could give more stars. Here you order at the counter up front. We were greeted by Jeremiah. He is the friendliest and most helpful. Jeremiah helped suggest the plates we got and mentioned how his father bought the restaurant for itās SALAD DRESSING. Because it was so good, the now new owner wanted to preserve the original recipe. And let me tell you that this is not emphasized enough. That salad dressing is incredible and Iām glad we got salads instead of fries because sharing something that good would have been difficult. The love and attention in all the food here is reflected in all the flavor and freshness. They sell their salad dressing and tzatziki sauce if I remember correctly. Unfortunately we were on the road so we didnāt get to grab any, but we did make sure to get pitas with tzatziki sauce and hummus to go after our meals! We ordered a gyro and chicken souvlaki sandwich. Gyro had great flavor, but the chicken souvlaki was the best Mediterranean chicken we have ever had. We cannot wait to find a reason to come back through the area. Kostas is a MUST try. Oh and so is...
