El San Luis Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

The food was ok, but I would still be careful about this place. My husband and I went there for the first time. We both ordered food under the section that says that rice and beans comes with the meal. We asked our waitress about the charge to substitute charro beans for refried beans. She said there was no charge. When the meals came, my husband got a plate of rice and a bowl of beans. They brought me a cup of beans and no rice. I called the waitress over to ask why there was a difference in beans and why I had no rice. She said that the fajitas came with a bowl but that the quesadilla only came with a cup and she didn't think that the quesadilla came with rice. Since I really didn't need the rice and my husband had a fairly large amount, I didn't ask her to bring a menu so I could prove my point. I just said ok. Well, when I went to pay.... they charged me for the beans. I pointed out that my meal was under the section that said rice and beans came with them. She continued to argue with me that they didn't come with quesadillas... even though the menu said that it did. I heard the waitress tell her in Spanish that she gave them to me, but she continued to argue and say that I had to pay for them. Pay for them, I did. Will I ever go back???? Definitely not. Can't go by the menu and the staff don't know what comes with the meal either. Just be ready to pay for anything you eat, regardless of what it says on the menu, if...

Ive been going there for quite sometime im a hairstylist in the area...Today was different I walked in there were two caucasian women at the counter discussing their bill with the owner Im in line behind them a mexican gentleman walks up gets in front of me to pay for his meal..i know im not made of glass so the owners wife come with an ipad to take my order passes me up and goes to the mexican lady behind me this lady only wanted an application she happened to be with a black spanish man he said no she was first she then took my order i give her $10 she comes back with the food and gives me $10 i walk out get my salon and the taco shells were burned after all that drama i deserved my money back.Im a black single and professional who will not be ignored and i will never go ther again just because their in walking...

I Always order a bean burrito @ 4.99 like the menu states... The owner " the witch " decided to charge me 7.99 plus tax for beans and a tortilla.. Now I waited in the drive thru 10 minutes, with one driver ahead of me.. so I calledin, and placed my order. To get things rolling inside... After I called she came outside to take my order... I explained I just called in my order.. s he smiled.. approaching the window, after waiting 15 minutes total now... she says that will be $8.83.... I said the price says 4.99.. She said well, That's what it is for you now.. This is the 3rd time this year, she has been shady..The worst was her giving me refilled flat coke into a used mexican soda.. The top was off when she gave me the coke.. Watch out for this...
