Franky-G's — Restaurant in San Antonio

Oct. 2025. Cane back and tried their fish burger. It's a catfish piece, I should have paid attention. I really don't care for that type of fish. For me their burgers are the main star! We went on Friday and enjoyed all the hot rods there.

First time here.

We were greeted with a warm welcome. The wonderful lady that takes your explains when they have specials, which is on Wednesday (luckily we went on that day). She is such a sweetheart and will happily talk to you like you're part of the family.

Inside has ample amount of seating space and is very clean. They bring the food out to you and since we got a fountain drink soda it comes with 1 free refill.

Ordered: -Just a burger with cheddar cheese mustard no mayo and everything on it. -Franky's burger with American cheese just the way it comes (mayo, mustard, red onions, lettuce, tomato, and pickles). -Small onion rings

Just a burger is a 7oz patty. The ground meat is juicy and cooked to perfection. It is tender and doesn't have any nerves (which means it is a high quality ground meat). The cheddar cheese goes so well with the burger. It is very filling (It's a nice big heavy cheese burger) and has great flavor. It is actually a subtle flavor that allows all the components of the burger to shine and meld together just right. The lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and red onions are crispy and fresh. It comes with real cut fries. Goodness they are heavenly. Salted just right. It's a nice not too greasy meal.

Franky's burger comes with 2 - 7oz patties. It's massive! According to my hubby it tasted delicious and everything I stated above. Except he got American cheese. It comes with 2 slices of cheese.

Small order of onion rings... they are homemade and the batter has just the right amount of seasonings! They are crispy, flaky, and mouth watering. Sooo good.

You can change out the fries for tater tots of you like for an upcharge. Honestly though, homemade fries win any day!

Everything is made to order which means love.

Total with tip: $46.01 well worth the price for the amount of food given.

The Hamburger was awesome. I chose Cheddar cheese for my choice of cheese! They provide choices. It came with fries, actually I dipped mine with their awesome Ranch. But you would have to ask, I had it due to I ordered Buffalo Sauce Wings. They had variety of choices. This place has option for dine inside and outside patio with tables. I chose dine in. The place literally 8 miles off of I10 and exiting WW White. Learned about this place through Facebook Feed. Fyi it is hard to navigate looking for it on FB so must enter it under Frank-G's it is the yellow icon. I did try to call the #on line but no answer (my car was giving me trouble and wanted to order to go) but I do believe they do have that option to call. I Still drove down due to the review and their live feeds the food always looks so good and they sell out. They are always promoting specials like $1.00 wing Sundays. They promote events like the car shows. Just fyi, it is not your typical restaurant, it does have a bar type atmosphere and it is a little dark when you walk in. But staff super nice! The place was full. I was able to run, grab a menu by the register and only waited a few min. due to they were serving a larger party and no one was at the front, but were just busy. Even customers were nice and let me order in front so I could run back to my car, one even stood out and watched out for it. Looked like regulars. Menu was simple, easy to read, and had prices on the menu. I waited in car with a buzzer, but gentleman kindly brought out my food!! Drove home to Seguin, my husband bit into his burger and said WOW!!! ITS JUICY!!! And it was. I didn't get to get my grandson's review on the wings! But next time. We will go back and try out patio area. PLENTY OF PARKING. There are 2 handicapped in front but can't access the door as there is a black fence FYI blocking entryway...(unless didn't see it) so I wouldn't park there, it would be hard to get person walking with a walker or wheelchair around. But this place worth...

I have to say that I have been enjoying this place. Been there 3 times already and every time I go back, it makes me wanna go back even more! Today I had tried their 1 dollar wings and they were delicious and I had a side of tater tots and they tasted fresh and very good! I recommend the burgers because they absolutely kill that burger with love! I’m a big fan of all kinds of vegetables on the burger even mushrooms and they will add lettuce and tomatoes if you order the mushroom swiss burger and they’re very kind! They lookout for the customers and they are extremely friendly and welcoming! And I love sitting in the back away from the bar because it’s usually silent and I enjoy those kind of dinners and the AC just hits me and it feels awesome on high chairs.
