We walked in not sure what to expect. It was fancier than the non collared shirt I was wearing. We were the only ones in for an off peak Monday lunch. I grew up in NY, lived in Hawaii, and my wife is from San Francisco. This was the best Pho I've ever had. Usually pho is something I consider "pretty good", but I have to add a combo of sauces, jalapenos, etc, to enjoy what is otherwise a simple collection of decent macros post workout. This pho made me realize that it could actually taste good, not only because of the seasoning but because of the quality of the beef. This is elevated pho.

This place is expensive for the taste of the food. The atmosphere is ok, but to be honest I expected something a bit more upscale. The food however is lacking. I had the cod parmesan and neither my wife or I liked it, because it was too plain (like breaded with no seasoning and fried). The wife had the veal and it was pretty tasty but we have had veal from other restaurants in town for less that tasted better. 80 bucks for our meal and that is entirely too much for a mean that we were not satisfied with.

This was my second visit, and once again, I was not disappointed! My party was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and seated. Our main server was polite, patient, and very attentive. He ensured our food and drinks came out quickly and looking amazing! The duck a l'orange is delicious! They definitely know how to do duck! But you'll be hard pressed to order something you don't enjoy.

I usually don’t leave poor reviews but I feel like I have to be honest about our experience. First of all, the online menu was not what was actually available which was a little disappointing. When we first walked in we thought it was a very nice restaurant bordering a fine dining experience, well that was quickly put to rest when the waitress came to our table and literally DUMPED our silverware out of a napkin into a pile in the middle of our table. It caught me off guard but I surely thought she was going to set the table after that. Nope, she just walked away leaving a pile of silverware in the middle of the table. She then proceeded to go set several other (empty) tables for about 15 minutes and completely ignored us. Fortunately another waiter came over to take our drink order. At this point we were confused who our server was. He was nice and ended up taking our food order as well. About 10 minutes later the waitress came back asking for our drink order to which we told her we already ordered from the other gentleman and she scoffed and walked off. We get our appetizers, food, and never did she return to ask how the food was or if we needed more drinks. No refills on water either. We signaled the male waiter for the check thinking he might have taken over but no, he told our waitress we were waiting for the check. She never came to the table. We had to stand up and walk to the bar to get her attention for the check and then she still managed to disappear for 5 minutes to process my card. Never said a word or asked how the food was. The entrees were mediocre as well (but the soup was pretty great). I really hope this is a one off since the reviews are really good. I was really looking forward to eating here but we will absolutely not be returning. Thank you to the one nice server there who actually cared. That lady needs to be fired, seriously. I haven’t had a dining experience that bad in years and for paying over $100 for lunch I am pretty frustrated with the complete lack of service and poor...

First... Scheduled a reservation online for my 50th birthday. Anyway, we get there. There is no sign on the restaurant. The building is dark and the entrance is on the side, hard to see. We go in to find out they lost my reservation. They said the Manager is off on Wednesday's so they didn't get the online reservation. But they have PLENTY of room. The person sits us, gets us water, and then asks... What would we like? I said a menu would be nice... He says yes, but what would you like to drink. Being the first time there, the waiter was NO HELP! After he gets us tea, he brings us a menu. Not offering any suggestions even when asked. Not giving us much time, he asks us for our order. We order and they bring out ONE (1) piece of bread!! No more! We run out of tea multiple times and are dry for over 15 minutes each time. I ordered the duck with bacon rice and the rice is mostly bacon. It sounds good in theory. But not. Honey ordered the shrimp and scallops. Scallops was slightly underdone. But otherwise good. I honestly wonder if it would have been better if the MANAGER would have been there. We will not be going back!!!! This whole thing stinks!

PS... Our waiter served an older gentleman and his wife WITHOUT...

We dined tonight at Frederick's because it was participating in Restaurant Week.

We made reservations for 5, but when the server looked at it, he mistakingly thought it was for 4. Needless to say, our table wasn't available and we had to wait for another table to clear.

A server offered to comp a drink while we waited, which my girlfriend then asked for a glass of champagne. Unfortunately they billed for it, but after a brief discussion, they indeed made good on their offer.

The lobster bisque was ok, but we were a bit disappointed, that there weren't chunks of lobster in it. The snapper was delicious!👍🏼👍🏼 I had the trio for desert, which is always my favorite.

The service was ok.

We were disappointed, that they ran out of grey goose which one of are guests drinks and that their cappuccino machine wasn't working.

We of course will return, but we've definitely had more enjoyable evenings.

Give them a try, I think we just caught them on an off...
