Great American Cookie Company — Restaurant in San Antonio

So, where to begin??? Last year I bought the mission impossible cookie with the hand scanner on it! The woman I was dealing with was amazing! I have no idea if she was the owner or manager. These cakes are for nursing supervisors that are amazing and the best. It is their birthdays and we always have fun potlucks for them. This year we were doing teenager mutant ninja turtles. The nice pizza cookie is what it was supposed to look like. I was charged $72 for the square cookie with $10 extra for all the frosting that was supposed to be on it. I always tip these folks since they do work hard on these. My daughter picked it up for me and called me, not happy. The poor young man knew my daughter and I were not happy. So he came out to her car and offered the round one free since I was not happy. I am wondering who on earth thought either of the 2 we received looked anything like the 1st one. The manager or owner whoever he was had the son or young manager take a picture yesterday so they knew what I wanted. The teen that was handing it to my daughter was so nice and excited that it looked good. I am disappointed that the manager allowed this to be handed to my daughter. I placed an order for a birthday batter cake for 5pm. I arrived after 5pm only to find a young man sitting at a table while a young lady worked behind the counter. They couldn’t find my cake but he saw the receipt hanging and quickly realized it wasn’t made. He asked for 20 minutes, I left to wait in my car and gave him plenty of time. When I walked back in he asked for a few more minutes. At that point I was frustrated because I had to wait another 10-15 minutes. When I returned he showed me the cake and I was disappointed with decorations, and I realized he didn’t even decorate the right cake. He used a chocolate chip cookie cake, I told him I paid $10 extra for cookie batter and he just stared at me. I understand giving grace and for the most part I am very forgiving. This young woman worked with me over the phone first, then when I made a special trip to make sure everything was still on track, she reassured me that she would come in before her shift to do the cake herself, since I was concerned about having pretty penmanship. I really appreciated the extra effort she made. Evidently she is in high demand, because she told me her boss is having her train others and she drives in all the way from New Braunfels.
