So the food there was amazing the chicken we ordered chicken and waffles, egg bowl with the potatoes biscuits and gravy risky biscuits. Let’s start off with them chicken and waffles (Bam YoYo🔥) though the chicken and waffles waffles will solve and tasty chicken wings was well seasoned. I think that the chicken is season better than canes, chicken, and Popeyes chicken. Let me tell you well season end the biscuits initially they were hard but as always I am big on customer service, and how a company response to your order and rate them on those things, we had a guy Joseph former military go Air Force. We told him about the biscuits being hard he said OK I got this took care of it in the next set of biscuits and felt like pillows super soft. The coffee is pretty good. good flavor without sugar or creamer. I like the fact that they have a Maple simple syrup, which is quite different than most coffee places if you want to be served coffee, you have to get a specialty coffee like a latte. But if you order a coffee, you have to get it and make it yourself which I’m totally fine with on. My baby had the (potatoe o Ryan)She got the egg over easy with the potatoes with the grill, onions and bell peppers. She thought that was real tasty. Also, the reason your coffee is self-service because they have a coffee bar a selection of maybe four types of coffee’s. I mix mines with the 50% dark bark and another one I totally forgot you have the excuse me. The ambience is great. They have great music playing old school (that day) the place looks beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and there’s plenty of parking. Also if you are in any type of organization or any type of group what is a small group at church or team that have kids they have a circle table at the location off of Bulverde that can fit almost 12 people which is a very cool table super nice. The table is huge enough room to put a cake many gifts etc. I will be returning. We go to our favorite restaurants not the best...

Yesterday a few church members and I connected after church for some brunch at the Maple Street Biscuit Company. I had been viewing the new locale a few times after church, but the number of cars waiting to turn in gave me some more time to patiently wait.
Like most Yelpers, I browsed through the multitude of photos andwanted to select a fluffy biscuit covered in gravy for my meal. As we approached the counter, we were warmly greeted by our Maple Representative who stated that the Maple definitely gave a Military discount. Since I had my twin with me, we decided to split an order of chicken fingers and a delectable Asiago sprinkled waffle.
I watched in astonishment at the fancy juice machine churning out fresh squeezed orange juice, but was pulled out of my astonishment when the servers started calling out orders for patrons to come pick up their food. It was a bit loud to hear screaming every few minutes and I did not appreciate that a patron was touching other plates as he was looking for his. In this environment, their has to be more health conscious ways to present food without people who are approaching looking for their meals not to be hovering over or touching the food of others.
Luckily, I’m watchful and as soon as my name was screamed I ran and grabbed my food. As a note, the food was yummy, but my chicken could have used a few more minutes in the fryer. I would also add that the young woman grabbing the dirty dishes needed more help. She was struggling with those food trays and the floor was not clean. I love great food, but I’ll take a cleaner restaurant over that. It was hard to enjoy my meal looking at biscuit crumbs and food about the floor.
I know that Sunday is probably a Peak Time, but the management will have to consider this when allocating staff on shift. For me, it was a bit too noisy, cramped during brunch and needed a bit of tidying.
Perhaps I’ll give it another shot on a slower...

Ate here on a Sunday after church. First thing we noticed was that it was not busy, which was completely different from our previous experiences, but fine for us, as we did not have to wait for a table. Service was okay, if not the most welcoming/friendly. Cleanliness could have been better in the dining room.
That said, the food itself was great, as it had been in the past. They were out of some of the coffee and half-and-half was on its last drops, so had to prompt staff to refill. Overall good experience, but hope they are not slipping with the customer base, as don't need another restaurant going out of business after operating only a short while. We'll be back and hope that all is well.
Initial review over a year ago:
First things first: This is NOT a low-fat, low-cal place to go eat, though we did hear they are bringing in a "lite" menu, so stay tuned. Regardless, we went for the first time after church to try it out. The food was excellent, and service very good. The ordering was unique, as they had us name our Favorite Fictional Character, which is what they called out for our order pick-up. Looks like they will rotate the category routinely, which is a fun, unique idea.
They had gotten slammed just before us, so the team was playing catch-up on everything from time it took to get our orders, to bussing tables, to running out of things like iced tea, etc, but they slowly got things back in line by the time we left and the crowd slowed. If they can work out the balance of the crush they'll have a definite winner. Had only been open 4 weeks when we went, so they need time to gel the team. Otherwise, the food itself was excellent and we are excited about coming back and trying other unique concoctions. ...
