Las Quesabrosaz in Stone Oak offers genuinely authentic Mexican food that transported us back to our trip to Antigua—wow! When I arrived, the place was completely empty, and I can’t understand why. I was waited on by a woman whose English was limited, which made communication a bit tricky despite my being fluent in both languages. I stuck with English, because I felt a bit awkward.

The menu could really use an update for clarity, as it’s hard to follow.

We ordered: • Pan de Elote (Corn Cake Slice): Absolutely delicious! Perfectly balanced and not too sweet, with a great texture. 9/10. • Carne Asada Quesadilla: The meat was a little too salty for my taste. 5/10—wouldn’t reorder. • Flor de Calabaza Quesadilla: So tasty! A 8/10 that becomes a 10/10 when paired with their incredible green habanero salsa. • Memelas con Carne Asada: Good flavor overall, but the carne asada wasn’t my favorite. 6.5/10.

Corn Tortillas: I usually dislike corn tortillas, but these were phenomenal! You could literally slap me with one and I wouldn’t even flinch. They were authentic, soft, and full of flavor.

Salsas: They offer two—red (mild and tasty) and green (packs a punch and is absolutely addictive). I wish they sold the green one by the jar—I’d ship it to family across the country just so they could try it!

Portion Sizes: The quesadillas were on the small side (like a taco) for the price.

Service Quirk: When I ordered the pan de elote, there was confusion. I kept asking about it since it didn’t show on my order, and the cashier insisted “after.” At checkout, she manually added it as a $6 tip on the transaction instead of as a line item. Not sure why it’s not programmed into the system, but it felt odd.

Overall: The total came to $30, which feels a bit pricey for the portion sizes, but the food’s authenticity makes it worth it—at least occasionally. If the prices were a bit more reasonable, we’d be...

If ever there was proof that you don't have to pay a fortune at a fancy restaurant to eat incredible food, Quesabrosaz #3 on 18866 Stone Oak is it. They make large, traditional quesadillas, memelas from Puebla and gorditas all with homemade corn tortillas [no flour here!] at [amazingly these days] accesible prices. Mom and I tried the poblano and the super interesting huitlacoche [a fungus that grows on corn]. We both agreed they were the best quesadillas we ever tried. The creamy poblano was divine, the huitlacoche had what I can only think of describing as an amazing "umami", memelas had a delicious spiciness that's not typical flavor from usual Mexican salsas. And the corn tortillas! Perfection, the slightest crisp on outside but soft on inside with big corn flavor. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a molino in the back. Also had a lovely cucumber with lime aqua fresca, incredibly refreshing, not too sweet. Overall, it felt like an experience because the flavors and textures transported me to the streets of Mexico where vendors are cooking fresh food with the freshest ingredients. And to top it off the two ladies working there, from Zacatecas, were the epitome of Latino hospitality, warm and welcoming and enthusiastic to teach you about what they offer. 11/10 Can't wait to go back and try the flor...

If you’re looking for a place that serves up pure, mouth-watering magic, Las Quesabrosaz is where you need to be! Their quesadillas are not just delicious—they’re impressively delicious. Every bite is a flavor explosion that will leave you craving more.

What sets Las Quesabrosaz apart is their attention to quality and variety. Their keto tortillas are a game-changer for anyone watching their carbs but not willing to sacrifice taste. These tortillas are perfectly soft and light, providing the ideal base for all the amazing fillings they offer. Whether you’re into grilled meats, fresh veggies, or savory cheeses, Las Quesabrosaz loads up your quesadilla just the way you like it. And let’s not forget the extra toppings—they don’t hold back on the flavor.

Overall, Las Quesabrosaz is a hidden gem that you won’t want to miss. From their incredible keto-friendly options to their generous portions and unbeatable taste, this place has it all. Highly recommended for anyone who...

I had to visit San Antonio and I found one hidden gem here. The Asada Memelas are really good, they have this corn base with beans, red sauce, green sauce, on top carne asada with crumble fresh cheese, is a pack of flavors all well balance in your mouth!!!!. But I did not stop there I wanted to try the quesadillas and I request one with half of chicharron prensado en salsa verde and the other half with flor de calabaza y elote, wooow it was really delicious the cheese they are using is awesome, just be careful with the sauces!!! They are spicy!. After finishing my meal I look into the corn bread, looks like a mini cake with a really nice crust, some pecans, a delicious filling and the most important for me it was balanced in the sweetness you still can appreciate the corn pieces and flavor, plus is really nice decorate with the corn husks. Bere was really nice! The restaurant was super clean so this is a 10 out of 10 for me and I will stop again if I can.

Let me start by saying the tortillas super fresh! I got the chile rilleno and and a zuchini mix. I’m not kidding some of the best tortillas I have ever had. It was hand made and when you bit into the tortilla it was perfectly crispy and beautifully fluffy. Also finally a place where you get what you paid for and not some tiny portion size. It was so reasonably priced. The place is so clean and homie amazing family environment and just overall great aesthetic. Don’t forget some great horchata! Bere, who I believe is the owner, is such a sweet woman. You have gotten yourself a repeat customer, thank you for the amazing, clean , service and food!
