I love Starbucks. The drinks are a great way to keep me calm, especially with the stress of owning my own business. HOWEVER, this particular Starbucks (located on Stone Oak Pwky) has recently been letting me down.
I will get in a line with only two cars in front of me & I will be sitting there for a good 15 to 20 minutes for those two other people to get their ONE coffee, and then have to wait another 5 minutes or so for my own coffee while the line gets bigger. They have always been way quicker with their service. I'm not exaggerating. I have actually timed it & it has gotten worse & worse every time. Not only that, but I don't like to wait in a line for that long and then discover halfway down the road that my coffee is incorrect. My signature is a Ice Skinny Vanilla Latte & today (basically what was the last straw) i discovered there was caramel added to my drink. I hate caramel & I drove all the way home before taking a sip & I didn't appreciate it.
I'm not a person who likes to write reviews & I don't make it my mission to take down restaurants, but when someone continues to do its customers wrong continually, I don't sit and do nothing about it. I don't know if there is a new manager [I know for sure there is a new, younger staff (though, kudos to those awesome baristas who have moved on to better opportunities)] but it is very disappointing.
I'm pretty sure the Starbucks on Blanco Rd. hasn't done me wrong yet. I think I will have more...
Read moreI’ll start off by saying I usually hate leaving reviews because I don’t think the right people ever really read them and they fall on deaf ears but on the off chance management here does I want to give credit where it’s earned.
While running my usual Saturday morning errands I stopped by this Starbucks to get my caffeine fix. I saw the line in the drive thru and although it was moving quickly I figured it best to walk in and order. I was promptly greeted by a team of obviously busy young women who all made it a point to look up from their task at hand rather than mutter some half hearted welcome under their breath like robots told to do something. My order was taken quickly and the lady made sure the coffee was fresh for me. I sat and waited for my order for a few minutes and once I was called I realized there was a mistake. Not wanting to make a big deal out of it I was prepared to leave and continue with my day but this young woman with the prettiest blue eyes I’ve ever seen - I think her name tag read Roxie - realized the order was incorrect without me saying anything and turned to Maddy and asked that it be re-made. Maddy quickly got to work to rectify the issue at hand and let me leave with both drinks. Roxie and Maddy both apologized for the inconvenience and wished me a good day. With how busy these women were I’m honestly floored at the service they still provided. Hats...
Read moreSo, I don't live in the area or even go to Starbucks frequently, but a we were near bye and a friend wanted to go. It was late, about closing time, and I'm sure the staff wanting to go home, typically would've driven us away elsewhere or be somewhat disgruntled but they weren't. They were elated and treated us so. We got our order in a timely matter, it was good and we left. Overall good experience.
Fast forward a full week later. I cant find my wallet. For some reason it never occurred to me that I could've left it there. I call, ask, and sure enough, they have it. They found it when closing that night and put it in their safe hoping I would come by. Note I had sat in the corner of the store a little far from any wandering eye, any one of them could've swiped and made off with whatever was inside. But they didn't. Better yet could've lied over the phone saying it wasn't there and then taken it. But they didn't. So I drive down, a good 30 minutes or so from where I live, and sure enough they had it, everything was in tact, not a cent missing. They even offered me a free drink on the house for the trouble even thought the entire event was my own fault. After this, if I am ever near bye I will absolutely swing by to pick something up. They're super friendly and very trustworthy. I reccommend...
