I don't like giving Le Peep a lower score, especially because I used to love this place when I was younger. The last time I went here it was a pretty terrible experience, but that was outside of Le Peep's control, so they can't be blamed. Still, it was a few years until I've been back. I had wanted to go a few times since but it's usually so crowded that we decided to go somewhere else. UNTIL, I had a random Friday off and decided now was my time. Unfortunately, I was still disappointed. Service was okay, food was okay. I'm also not a huge fan of having to be seated by a waiter / waitress and pay for my meal at the front by another waiter/ waitress. I feel like this slows down everything. It takes them away from their tables or takes them away from people trying to be seated or pay. Also, like every other brunch spot on the weekends this place gets wild. There have been times I couldn't find parking. For me, it's not worth it. Overall, take your grandparents here, they're probably really appreciate it, otherwise I'd go somewhere else.

Le peep used to be my favorite place when i was younger. Ever since i moved out of this area i haven't been back. Recently i was back in this area and wanted to get a quick breakfast. We came on a Friday around 12:30pm and it was mostly empty. I ordered the lumberjack which was the dish i would always get back in the day. The peasant potatoes were so oily and did not taste the same as before. The sausage was just not that good & the pancakes were okay, a little dry nothing special. Our waiter dropped the top to our sandwich on the table as she was bringing our plates, instead of taking the plate back and replacing it. She grabbed the bread off the table and placed it back on the plate. This was so unprofessional and just wrong. Overall, i think this place lost is spark from back in the day, i don't think ill be coming back especially with all these new breakfast places opening up around the stone oak area.

Food was good but the service was poor....not over all but the lady we had seemed to have attitude.....we entered and waited awhile for anyone to say anything to us.... understandable as I know businesses are short staffed...was approached by a lady that asked for my name and how many....I told her then she just turned her back on me...I then asked..." So how long is the wait?".... Which she then replied 20 mins.....we sat down and I had a fun Convo with another customer who I did not know... during that time others had been seated before us... again not a huge issue as there were five of us two being children...but the lady knew she was skipping us as she even made it known even though we could see it ..when we finally did get seated it was in the very back which was completely empty which made me wonder why we were waiting so long....the same lady that wrote us in on the wait was also our waitress....have u ever felt when a person is being "fake" nice? ...yea this is how it felt with this waitress....we order and wait for our food ..side note...they don't do substitutions of any kind so be aware of that....but once our food comes we are asked if we need anything else....my mom order a decaf coffee but it was cold so she asked for a regular cup while I asked for salt and pepper...and wife asked for hot sauce....all of this came kinda all at once since the waitress didn't really check on us our entire time being there so I double checked to see if the waitress had heard my mom about the coffee....and was answered with attitude of "I heard her" ....after that we were ignored the rest of our time there until the check came....overall the food was good but we probably won't be back ....also my meal was supposed to come with toast and I didn't get it...but because of our waitress attitude I didn't...

Food quality is going down hill and I believe it'll never return to its original state. Today was the last time my family and I will ever enjoy breakfast here. For the last few months I've notice a lot of negative trends: The only fresh ingredients are eggs Waffles taste very familiar to box mix The kitchen staff only knows how to cook with purple onions, and if you know anything about onions then you'll know that purple onions don't belong on half the dishes here. The patty melt is a lie! This is the meal that sealed the deal for me today. My patty melt was a microwaves "bubba burger"! No sautéed onion and most importantly no dressing. Understandably I know the dressing is optional in some regions of the country, but there is no excuse for serving a frozen burger patty; what a sin. Tomatoes are always green and flavorless.

The list can go on and on and I won't badger you with my level of foodyness.

The point I'm trying to make is, this "quality" restaurant has been ruined by Sysco food products, lazy cooks, and poor quality control.

I don't expect this restaurant to go under, nor will their Google rating slip below three stars anytime soon. because Texans judge food on portions and color, and not on flavor, quality, and fresh...

Too many teenagers who do not understand how to give good customer service work here. While waiting to give our name on the wait list, 3 hostesses/baristas completely ignored us as we were standing there to be acknowledged. After 30 seconds of chatting amongst themselves while we were standing right in front of them, we finally had to ask how long the wait was before they even looked at us. After being told the wait was 20 minutes for a party of 3, which we were okay with, we were finally sat at a table which had been empty and clean since we first out our name on the list. Waiting 20 minutes for a table that was ready all along was really annoying. Finally when we sit down our servers first words were "Hi, can I get you something to drink?" She spoke softly we could hardly hear anything she said. Our teenage server evidently did not have much practice in dealing with customers. There were many other inconsistencies with the service she provided compared to other servers we saw. So if you aren't bothered by poor customer service, then you'll be fine at Le Peep. On a side note, I used to work there as a hostess/barista while I was in high school and the staff seemed to be more professional back then than...
