If you want perfection, this is the place to go. We shopped online for a few months for our wedding bands. After being frustrated with not finding a ring that we loved, we decided to do custom rings.

Moses Jewelers had fantastic reviews so I went in to initiate conversation. I had explained to Gabbi that we had some precious family stones that we wanted to put in the ring from our Grandmother who had passed a week prior. Gabbi gave me homework to find some pics of inspiration and ideas for our design and to come back in a few days with Grandmas stones to get started.

We came back to meet with Gabbi and Joey to talk about the ring designs we had rumbling around in our head. We explained to Gabbi that we have decided to do a custom ring because no one else has what we want. We explained some ideas and shared some examples of pictures that were somewhat like what we wanted. We had never designed a ring before so this was all new to us. Gabbi was very nice and explained the entire process step by step and assured us we would be very happy with the rings.

Our ring is very unique, it has 14k gold, Rose gold, diamonds, peridots, blue sapphires and is oxidized. It is very distressed looking. The ring is absolutely amazing. I will post a pic as soon as I get my new cell phone which will result in a far better pic.

They have no hidden charges, great communication throughout the entire process and they really take time to make you feel like family. They will not stop till they get it right and you love it!

My Wife and I wanted to have our wedding rings remade for our 15th year. We stopped at a few places on the west side of San Antonio, but the honesty seemed to be lacking from these other places. We had some repair work completed by Moses Jewelers years before, but we moved over an hour away and decided to drive out to them once again. Joey worked with me at the beginning of November on designing my ring .We went through a few paper designs before we came to our final design. Joey listened to every detail I was looking for and provided feedback with great suggestions during the process. Once we committed to the ring design, the great staff there kept me informed like clockwork weekly. They provided a remarkable and unique custom ring that I know is one of a kind. Once my ring was completed, my wife’s rings were brought in for their work. My wife had a guard ring that was her great grandmothers that use to be part of a set of 3, and we wanted to add this to her wedding ring to make a new set. We needed to make a duplicate of this ring and add it to her current wedding ring for the other side. It was imperative that the ring stayed the same for my wife; which, Joey’s computer design was flawless in replicating the new ring to match the old one. They were able to modify the main ring so all 3 rings looked like they were made for each other.

End of it all, Joey and the staff at Moses Jeweler take pride in each piece they design. They worked on both our rings until we were 100% satisfied and then they went another 25% for good measure. We never felt pressured for anything we didn’t want. They were more concerned with finding and fulfilling what we wanted and exceeding every expectation we had. They provided weekly updates with our custom work and set real timeframes. You have no need to rush them or worry about your family pieces as they take great pride in their work and trustworthiness. In 2021, I purchased a custom ring from this jeweler. The entire process from ordering, designing, to delivery was flawless. We could not have been happier with our purchase. They even gave us an appraisal for our insurance and warrantied their work. Last year, one of the accent stones in the band fell out. I took the piece to the shop and they replaced it free of charge, no questions asked.

This month, same issue. We took it in to get fixed and the shop will no longer honor the warranty under the premise they're "under new ownership". I provided the warranty card I was given and advised them we had the same issue last year and the shop fixed it free of charge.

The manager, Arianna, danced around the issue. First, it was because it's not covered under warranty. When I advised her I had the warranty card provided, she asked me to text her a picture. I sent the picture where it clearly states it's covered. I did not hear back from her after that. I had to call the shop repeatedly over the next several days till she answered to follow up. Her next excuse was that I was supposed to bring it in every 3-4 months to get it inspected. Nowhere on the card does it state that is requirement of the warranty. Then she said it's a verbal order they tell their customers now.

I then asked to speak to the owner and was told he wasn't in. I asked for his name but she refused to provide it. She stated he was supposed to be back today but she couldn't tell me when that would be.

This store did an outstanding job when we purchased the ring. As you can see, they have very strong Google reviews. Prior to this incident, I would echo that sentiment. I did confirm they changed ownership. However, if you're going to continue to operate under the same trade name as the previous owner, it would be wise to honor the agreements they've made with their customers. Most customers are unaware when there is a change of ownership but when the previous owner has a strong reputation for providing outstanding service and doing quality work, it would be wise to keep up that tradition.
