Avid Marco's pizza fan but I will no longer give my money to this location. after my experience today. I'll stick to the helotes location
Original order-2/8/20 I ordered a xl 1 topping, and 2 medium 1 topping pizzas via delivery. Price seemed a little higher than i calculated but the sales associate assured me the price was right and completed order purchase. I received the pizza timely but they sent 1 large and 2 medium pizzas. So i called and talked to a male manager and he apologized and said he would comp my next xl pizza for the inconvenience, which I was greatful for.
I called today 2/27/20 to redeem my free pizza. The store manager (Lily, I believe) told me she can't find that free pizza under my phone number and I went on to tell her that I don't know why her employee didn't record the information down properly and now she is making it my problem by not giving me the pizza that I was promised. I offered to give her my address to help her locate the receipt on her end. She said she can't find the receipt with that and only the phone number. She said well I can't give you the pizza without the receipt or phone number and I got HANGRY and called her a B*H as she was disconnecting the line. So i drove over to marcos to have a face to face talk with the person who hung up on me.
I showed up to the store and asked the lady approaching the counter if she was the one who hung up the phone on me, and she said yes. I told her the whole story that happened on 2/8/20 when I placed original order and showed her my bank statement from the purchase date. She said she found it and then went on to argue with me that I got what I paid for and she showed me the receipt. the receipt showed the incorrect order. I then asked for the owners name and phone number and she said he lives in houston and I said does he have a phone? she said no, he is in houston. I got frustrated again and asked her if she had a boss and she then gave me a number for Jessie Gonzalez who is her manager. I got super frustrated and asked her if she is retarded? Like physically incapable of understanding? I wasn't asking to poke fun at her as I have a disabled son, but asking a serious question. She then threatened to call the cops and stuff got a little crazy. So I decided to leave after a little bit more of a verbal war and call Jessie Gonzalez. I spoke with my financial institution to get a partial refund on the purchase since the merchant...
Read moreUp till this point, I have loved Marco's but this time was just horrible. Firstly we got the wrong order. We bought a bogo deal and one of them was supposed to be a cheese pizza for my 5y/o daughter. Then on top of that the pizza's we did get were hard and tough with a lot of grease as if they were old and kept warm or something which is odd because we walked in and ordered on the spot. The only thing that was good and seemed fresh was the cheese bread. Called the store and they said they would replace the cheese pizza so next day we went to get it and at that time I mentioned the poor quality of the magnifico. Manager said well do you have a receipt, took a while but I found it in the car. At that point he said well you should have brought it back in to us. Wait, whaaa? You want me to stop dinner and pack it up and go back to show you the crap you sold me? Yeah, no. At the least you could hav3 offered an apology but didn't even get that let alone any sort of compensation. Not even a 2Liter or a free garlic bitter dip. A "sorry it won't happen again" would have been enough. So thanks Marcos I'm glad you have gone down hill. Starting to cost too much grabbing your bogo scam every other Tuesday. Maybe just stay away from this location, it's probably a franchise thing and not a company issue....idk but check you're order...
Read moreAfter calling store back on the evening of 1-8-22 and speaking with the manager on duty (she said her name was Lily) to complain that we were given the wrong type of pizza she was extremely rude. And questioning that we said the wrong pizza when we called on my car phone so everyone heard the conversation of me ordering a large meat lovers pizza and the young lady confirming it. I called because we were given a Deluxe pizza instead. And I explained also I was allergic to mushrooms also and she said well the receipt says deluxe. I stated as my friend said on the phone we ordered a meat overs pizza. She then said first there was nothing she could do. I said that pizza was $19 and I guess we will just have to write a review. The manager stated she didn't care if I wrote a review. I said what and she then said well you have to bring the pizza back to us and get another one. So I had to leave my house and go back to get the pizza and she just shoved the pizza at my friend when they came in and returned the pizza and no apology at all or anything.
